Let's see...today was snowy, then sunny, then snowy again, with a big thunderstorm.
I got up on time this morning to watch the news. Then I vegged for a while, before deciding that I was going to go out and go to the big mall today.
A little after one I walked to S-Mall. I wasn't sure what time the bus to Mikawa would run, so I went to the bus station area. I checked the time schedule and it said 1:45. It was now 1:35. I still had to buy my tickets for my weekend trip, so I did that rather hurriedly. I didn't really do it in Japanese, more a mangling of Japanese and English. Still, it seemed to work! I also thought to ask how much the bus cost to go to Mikawa. Yay me. That I did do in Japanese.
I had a quiet ride on the bus out to the mall. When I was at the mall, I got some money for myself, then I bought lunch. During the day I also did a bit of shopping but really didn't buy anything, unless you count sunflower seeds! I tried on some clothing which fitted, but I didn't like the style so decided not to buy it.
Fumihiko met me after work and we had a very rushed dinner together. He had bibinba and I had a tuna and sausage crepe, which was good, but difficult to eat.
We went to see American Gangster tonight. Yes, I'd seen it before, but Fumihiko hadn't and wanted too. It was our last chance as well as it ends its run this week. I think Fumihiko liked it, but he's a bit funny with anything about police in TV or movies. He can't get over how unrealistic it is to him. Poor guy.
We went to the bakery to buy some bread after the show. The mall is one of the only places around that I can get good bread! I hate the soft white tasteless stuff that passes for bread in Japan.
We drove over to Cocos after that and had another dinner. We both had mild comfort food type things! Fumihiko had a rice porridge thing and I had macaroni with chicken and mushrooms. It was nice. When we were in the restaurant there was a huge thunderstorm outside. I still can't get over the fact that we get thunderstorms in winter here!
Fumihiko drove us back to Tsuruoka and we made a quick stop by my apartment to set the heater for tomorrow, then came home. Home was quiet tonight. We did watch Desperate Housewives again. It was fun. I'm never sure which "Wife" I like the best. It rotates actually.
And that's it. While Fumihiko was off taking his bath, I got the garbage ready for him to take out in the morning. I also did a bit of work with the plastic stuff for tomorrow too. I figured that I might as well get as much done right now as I can.
Tomorrow I should do laundry and if I can run off to the post office, I should do that too. I have a couple of book supplier bills to pay and I just made an FBC order, so I have to pay for that too. Busy busy! Maybe.
That's it...it's good night from me. Night.
