Hot and sunny.

Something amazing happened this morning. There was news on! I was amazed. I watched it, and then watched the end of Holes again. That's a great little film.

I didn't do a lot today, it was quite hot and I just couldn't be bothered! I cooked my meal around 3 and then left at 4 pm.

I got to the school a bit later than I wanted and it was hot in there. It was over 30. I cooled it down as much as possible but it was still warm for the rest of the night. My first class was okay. It wasn't great, but really it wasn't that bad. I had a break in the middle, then my second class. My student was a bit late, but at least she made it this time. It had been a while. We had a nice chat and then looked at homophones. That was fun.

After my clean up I called Fumihiko and asked him to pick me up. He came and got me. We went to Cocos for dinner. I had chicken and he had cold noodles. We had a really nice time.

We came home and discovered that the Opening Ceremonies for the Olympic Games were on, so we watched that. I was honestly a bit disappointed. I hope the rest of the games go smoothly. By the time the games are over I tend to be bored stiff with them, but at the beginning they are exciting. I had to read up on all of the Canadian athletes because I'm so out of touch.

And that's about it for me. Tomorrow I have a long split day. An early class and a late one. I'll have to see what I can get up to in the middle of it all! Got to go. Night night.
