Emilio wrote and produced the song "El Ultimo Adios" (The Last Goodbye) together with Gian Marco, as tribute to the victims of the attacks on September 11 in NYC and Washington DC. 
Nearly 60 artists from several countries took part in the recording at the Criteria studios in Miami, among them Carlos Vives, Juan Luis Guerra, Luis Enrique and Gloria Estefan.
The CD will feature versions of the song in English and Spanish. Proceeds will go the American Red Cross and United Way.

Gloria is giving 2 Live Concerts in the States: 
1) November 3, 2001 Las Vegas, NV Mandalay Bay Events Center

Gloria was quoted in an episode of "Friends":
