Hats

Okay, this is really the first hat I ever got and started wearing on a fairly regular basis. Yes, I know it's an AE hat, but I liked the simplicity of the white star and the fact that it didn't look brand new. I hat people who wear baseball caps like this that look fresh from the press... it's irritating. I wear it either way, backwards or frontwards... sometimes I'll even go "ghetto" (as ghetto as living in East Jordan or Marquette can get) and wear it sideways, but it's rare to catch me like that.
This hat I acquired from my summer job at Little Caesar's. Easy enough. I'll wear it every once in a while to make some sort of half-assed attempt at being cool.
This is a brown courderoy golf hat I got from my grandfather when he passed away when I was in third grade. Therefor, it's really old, so I don't wear it outside much, especially not in the winters up here at Marquette.
My brown Derby, or "Nathan Detroit" hat. It was a graduation gift from "Ma V". It was also part of my costume when I played the part of Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls in my high school spring musical my senior year. You'll more likely see me in this hat than any of the other hats, it's by far my favorite and almost fits the best... the AE hat beat it out there cause it has adjustable straps...
My Greek Fisherman's cap is a fun one to wear. It was a christmas gift from a friend and luck had it that it fit excellently. I'll wear it out in public every once in a while. It's good for the winters because it's really warm, believe it or not. I'll even wear it to a few Woodpiles shows every now and then...
This fabulous Black French Bowler's Cap was given to me by my parents. They got it in New Orleans from this shop that was very reluctant to sell it to them once they found out it was going to go to a 19 year old kid. I am a kid, but I like my hats and I take care of them. Assholes. it fits really good, which made my mom happy seeing as they completely guessed on what size to buy. I really like this hat, I'm pretty sure you'll see me out and about wearing it a lot this summer.
Ah, yes... My Mardi Gras "mask". My parents also got this for me from New Orleans. I know this isn't exactly a "hat" but it is definitely cool, so I put it here all the same. The eye peices are made from two "hand strainer thingies" that are welded together with the handles going over my ears like a pair of sunglasses, functioning to keep the mask on my head. the color things coming out of the top are simply little plastic tubes...
