Daddy's Little Girl
When my head hits that pillow
The tears begin to flow
My heart crys to be with you once more.
I long to be hugged gently in your arms.
To look up and say "Daddy" like I did years ago.
I wish to be known as your little girl
Who you come home to see every night.
Your so familiar but still such a stranger
My eyes close tight hoping for you to appear
But you don't.
So far away I wish you were near.
Anything to be....
Daddy's little girl again.
