Fatherless at 15

You won’t write or even call
You left us never planning to return.
Fatherless at 15
I cry at night waiting for your presence.
A hankerchief soaked in your after-shave lays
At my side.
Fatherless at 15.
Nights go unsteady filled with loneliness and
Betrayal
Fatherless at 15
Why you left is beyond me
I’ll never figure it out and maybe I’m not
Supposed to.
Fatherless at 15.
Hope you are well and that everything is swell.
I hope you're happy that your putting me through
Hell!
Fatherless at 15
A phone call would be nice or even a letter
Or two.
Is that such a hard thing to do?
Fatherless at 15
Don’t care about me anymore
It's fine this will all come back to you sometime.
Fatherless at 15.
You're gone
You’ve left
You’ve shut the door
Leaving without a trace
