About Hiko Seijuro
Hiko is the 13th successor of Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu and is loaded with self-confidence which makes him conceited. He doesn't like to interact with other people much and lives by the name Niitsu Kakunoshin in the art of pottery. He didn't have a nice relationship with Kenshin before because Kenshin kept on worrying about those who are suffering and wanted to leave training. Hiko won't let him and they would quarrel. Because of Kenshin departure, the succession of Hiten Mitsurugi was incomplete. Kenshin returned to Hiko in the Kyoto Arc to complete training and to learn the succession technique. He refers to Kenshin as his stupid student. We first see Hiko in action when he fought Fuji the giant. The way he blocked the sword of Fuji shows his strength. He was the first one to think of Fuji as human rather than a monster. That shows his compassionate side but of course, he said that with a big grin on his face.
