About Kaoru
Kaoru is the mistress of the Kamiya Dojo. She's been running the Dojo ever since her father died in the war. She is the master of Kamiya Kashin Ryu (a technique that makes a sword use as a non-killing weapon for protection) in her dojo but now it seems that Yahiko and Yutaro are the only students that she has. She can be very agressive and hits Kenshin a lot but deep inside her is a great care for her love, Kenshin. She is kind but gets jealous when Megumi is talking to Kenshin or when Sano and Yahiko are talking about beautiful women. She loves to cook but unfortunately, she's not good at it (it seems that almost all main female anime characters are poor cooks).
