1830, and he was in Talledega County, Alabama, in 1834. He died in Dec 1870 in
Talledega County, Alabama on his 70th birthday.

living in Pickens County in 1838 when he signed deeds selling his fathers land
in Anderson District, South Carolina. He was recorded as Anslem on the 1850
census of Cass County, Texas.
He married a Mary Unknown on October 5, 1858 in Cass County, Texas.
Served in Company B 22nd Regiment South Carolina volunteers and died durnig the
Civil War.

Bright Pruitt married first Annister and had ten children. Annister died inspouse: Unknown, Annister (*1771 - 1815)
a fall from a horse in Kentucky in 1815. He married second Elizabeth Crum in
Jefferson County, Kentucky, and had three children.A celebration was being held and a prize offered for the family with the
most children. Bright stood up with his 13 children (all red headed) and won
the prize.Bright was living on Morgan's Creek of Tyger River in Greenville District,
South Carolina, as early as 1787; and he was recorded on the 1790 census of
Greenville District.In 1796 Bright moved to Fayette County, Kentucky, and purchased 600 acres of
military lands which he lost by reason of a defective title. Afterwards he
entered 400 acres in what is now Oldham County, Kentucky, where he built and
operated a distillery until 1830.Bright moved to Gregg Twp., Morgan County, Indiana, in 1830; and he remained
there until his death on Feb. 13, 1836.A genealogy sheet at the Morgan County public library says he is buried on
the family farm southwest of Hall at the Pruitt Cemetery located .4 miles south
of the intersection of Hall School Road and Gore Road. This is in Gregg Twp.1830 Census Record of Oldham County, Kentucky, Roll 40, page 259:
