An open Installation of Officers was held Sunday, January 24, 1999,
at the Masonic Temple in Elkhorn. The Rainbow Dads escorted the Mother Advisors to the East,
and Mother Advisor, Mrs. Marcia Imig welcomed everyone. The American and Rainbow Flag Tributes
were given by Elizabeth Imig and Sarah Wilson. They did a wonderful job.

Installing Chaplain, Elizabeth Imig attended the altar, then the names of the new
officers were read by Installing Recorder, Melissa Vlach. The officers were escorted
into the Assembly Room by the Installing Marshall, Amanda Hyde.

Junior Past Worthy Advisor, Kendra Johnson, served as Installing Officer.
Tara was escorted to the East by her grandfather, John Cochran. The other officers,
Mother Advisors, and the Advisory Board were installed and the formal Installation closed,
Elizabeth attended the altar.

Our newly installed Drill Leader, Melissa Olson did a wonderful job with introductions,
we had so many visitors including Grand Officers and Grand Representative,
Grand Officers of Eastern Star, our sponsoring Worthy Matron and Patron,
and sponsoring Worshipful Master. We also had some visiting Rainbow Girls from
Lincoln Assembly #6. Tara's family was also introduced.
Tara had some beautiful welcoming words for each of them.

Our new Worthy Advisor was Crowned by her grandfather,
Her crowning ceremony song was "Because You Loved Me". She was escorted through the
"Rainbow Garden" by her friend Steve Peterson. It was such a beautiful ceremony
and all the officers did such a great job. The new officers then retired with the
shortest "outgoing march" ever seen. A reception was held after served by Betty Gideon,
Bonnie Rolfs, and Denice Rieck.
Little boy kneels at the foot of the bed,
Droops on the little hands; little gold head
Hush! Hush! Whisper who dares !
Christopher Robin is saying his prayers .
"God Bless Mummy". I know that’s right.
Wasn’t it fun in the bath tonight?
The cold’s so cold, and the hot’s so hot.
Oh! "God bless Daddy" — I quite forgot.
If I open my fingers a little bit more,
I can see Nanny’s dressing gown hung on the door.
It’s a beautiful blue, but it hasn’t a hood.
Oh!, "God bless Nanny", and make her good.
Mine has a hood and I lie in bed,
And I pull the hood up over my head,
And I shut my eyes, and I curl up small,
And nobody knows that I’m there at all.
Oh! "Thank you God for a lovely day".
And what was the other I had to say?
I said “Bless Daddy”, so what can it be?
Oh! Now I remember. "God bless me".
Little boy kneels at the foot of the bed,
Droops on the little hands; little gold head.
Hush! Hush! Whisper who dares !
Christoper Robin is saying his prayers.

The song you are hearing is "Because You Loved Me"
Wherever I am, there's always Pooh,
There's always Pooh and Me.
Whatever I do, he wants to do,
"Where are you going today?" says Pooh
"Well, that's very odd 'cos I was too.
Let's go together," says Pooh, says he.
"Let's go together," says Pooh.
"I wasn't afraid," said Pooh, said he,
"I'm never afraid with you."
So wherever I am, there's always Pooh,
There's always Pooh and Me.
"What would I do?" I said to Pooh,
"If it wasn't for you," and Pooh said: "True,
It isn't much fun for One, but Two
Can stick together," says Pooh, says he.
"That's how it is," says Pooh.
