Governor's Project
This project focuses on children, from tikes to children in middle school. The project encourages service projects involving children and young adults. Activities can include visiting pediatric centers of hospitals, volunteering at a teen center or being a tutor/mentor. This corresponds to other Key Club Projects, such as:
- Major Emphasis Program
- Read & Lead
- Sponsoring a Builders/K-Kids Club
Major Theme & Emphasis Program
The MEP that was unveiled at District Convention was "Take a Child's Hand...." This is to encourage Key Clubbers to "interact with children on an indivisual basis." The three subtopics of the program include:
- Open a Book, Show Them the World
- Be a Friend, Be a Hero
- Provide Awareness, Ensure a Safe Tomorrow
