Despite a very impressive performance in the field of women empowerment, urbanization and the state capital city, Ranchi, being located here, the availability and use of health services remain poor in rural areas. Distance, lack of specialized services, ill-equipped and understaffed health centres etc. are some of the factors, which pose problems in grounding an effective health care delivery system in interior areas. Khunti Block displays wide variance in socio-cultural, economic and other demographic aspects but due to ignorance and restricted access to modern health facilities/ services villagers suffer continuously.

Our targeted population is Mother, child & old destitute people; we make sure that no mother & child suffers from any major illness. We are carrying out Medical camps every month in various villages. Our efforts in controlling Polio and TB (with the help of State Government) are on. Our added contribution to these camps is to make people aware about the health problems & cautions to be taken. We conduct awareness camps in villages & make sure that the people come to the campsite for proper medication. These programs are sponsored through our member contribution fund.
