In 1998, Mr Praveen Ohal, a young geology graduate from Maharashtra started working on issues related to environment and animal protection with few of his young friends since 1998. This key driving force of HOPE and Animal, embarked on an awareness raising/fundraising walk that should have taken him across Asia and Australia. He was supported by WWF and Rotary Clubs. He succeeded in completing 90% of his journey but could not go beyond Singapore, where unable to find a donor who could provide the required sponsorship limit set as pre-entry criteria by Australian embassy at short notice, he ended his walk there. During the course of the walk children in over 200 schools across 11 countries were sensitised on issues of environment and animal protection. He travelled all these countries without money. But he raised money to buy land for construction of Animal Shelter. We have now More than 27,000 SqFt land. Looking forwrd for funding for shelter construction.

An organization thus in India was registered in the year 2001, August 1, vide Registration No. 9549/IV - 799 at Ranchi (Jharkhand) to fulfill the long earned inspiration and heartfelt desire to fight for the protection of environment, animal and also help humans to live better, healthy & a pollution free life.
