The times we share are buried
deep within our hearts.
Time can not take them away...
It's as if only yesterday we were sauntering
along
the beach hand in hand.
Our senses heightened as we absorbed our surroundings.
The sand and water as it massaged our feet,
stars twinkling brightly in the sky,
warmth of the night air as it caressed our
bodies,
reflections of the moon as it shimmered across
the
water, and the sound of waves breaking.
The peacefulness and comfort we have with each
other,
as two lost souls that have found there mates.
The loneliness we had searching,
aimlessly through the days, weeks, and months.
Gone....
The passion for life, dead within us, is newly
rekindled.
The eagerness for all the tomorrows to begin.
And so my love,
With this new awakening we dream and talk of
plans for the future.
Wasting not one moment, but savoring each
as a precious gem.
For, in our hearts we know that a love like
ours comes but only once in a life time.
But for some ,never...
For this reason we must realize that each
day passing,
brings us closer to our dreams...
