It's like the perfect day for soccer. Perfect weather; sunny, windy, cloudless. Perfect condition; no injuries, no worries. Perfect pitch; nobody, empty. !!!! That's the real problem, isn't it? The pitch is EMPTY. Why don't anybody play sports on a Monday. Everybody's turned into Garfield. They all stay home on Mondays. And the blasted wind put so much magnus force on the swerves of my shots, all of them curled away from goal :( I don't remember hitting any on target today. So it really didn't end up that perfect afterall.....
But I only lost a game again in GB. Had a good run. But the 2x Battle Axe+ is still like 1000GP away. Sianz. It's starting to get boring :(

Just did a Nike "Test Yout Style" quiz to get the low down on my playing style and find out which boot suits me best. Here's the result:
Q1: Changing room, Pre-match. Coach is giving out shirts. Do you care what number you wear?
A: No - Good players play well in any shirt.
Q2: In the tunnel, you're putting your shirt on. Do you?
A: Tuck it in. Don't give defenders anything to hang on to.
Q3: Warm-up. What do you take most time to work out?
A: Leg muscles. There's a whole lot of running and you got to be ready.
Q4: 1st half. The other team's no.10 beats you with a double stepover. What happens next?
A: Chase him, tackle him and beat him with a triple stepover.
Q5: Opposition corner kick. Who do you mark?
A: Their strongest player. Push him about, see if you can rattle him.
Q6: 2nd half. Your team is on the attack and the ball's at your feet. Do you?
A: Give it to the defender. Then steal it back, just to wind him up.
Q7: You scored. Time to celebrate. Do you?
A: Stand still, looking as cool as possible.
RESULT (*drum roll pls, *symbal clash!!!):
Right gears equals more goals equals better-looking celebrations.
You're a full-time, full field warrior. You seem to be everywhere at all times, hassling opposition players and stealing the ball. When you score, you keep running. And running. And running..... Remember to come back to the pitch for the restart.
Recommended boot: Air Zoom Total 90
I think that settled my doubts. The MV is not suitable for me. AZT90 all the way!!!!

Did a cookout at Joel's place. The people from Palmerston will be having a combined cell with Joel's. All because their cell leader was busy celebrating his....erm.....I dunno what it is, but that's what separates the adults from the kids - responsibility. I knew what it felt like to have home-made food once in a while, and I tried being thoughtful by preparing one of my specialties....haha. Haven't had good food for a long time. But I don't remember tasting much of the dishes. I think all I had for lunch was a lot of rice :(
Cell went on a bit late. Didn't get to play football in the end. Sianz. It felt very different now. The football season is over. No more football on TV. Saturday nights will feel very different without it. I wanna play football tomorrow.

I am on a roll. Lost only 1 game in GB, did a DK, got >1.5k gold for 2 games. It's all coming back to me now. Muahaha....
Got a new keyboard. The same one as the one I have (HAD....I gave it to my sister) but it's black with silver buttons. Compliments my computer very well indeed. Muahaha
Had a great game of soccer as well. Created many goals and scored one myself. With so many players up front, all I can do is stay at the back. Trying to get the shimmy to become second nature. It's a good trick to use especially when I'm playing on the left. The pain on my tendon is gone. Yes....that means more football tomorrow. Muahaha.....
Should stop the 'Muahaha' thing at the end of each paragraph. Muahaha.
STOP IT!

It's over. Tania said I'd come a long way with my design. She didn't say anything really encouraging like "well done, good work...etc", but with the way I've been working this semester, I won't expect anything more than a P. But who cares now? The important things is, I'm free. And that only means one thing.....Bball, football....bring it all on!!!!!
Jose Mourinho, the man with the Midas touch, got his hands on the most precious metal of all as his Porto side overwhelmed Monaco to secure the European Cup. In two seasons at Porto, Mourinho has turned an under-performing side into one which has won two league titles, the Portuguese Cup, the UEFA Cup and now the biggest prize of all in club football. The Portugese champions are the undisputed champions of Europe this season. Hopefully, that euphoria would'nt be carried to Portugal this summer. France will win no matter what!

No TIME TO THINK.
It takes too long.
NO TIME TO SLEEP.
Too many things to do.
NO TIME TO EAT.
Actually, I just ate.
NO TIME TO WASTE.
Better scrap that habit.
NO TIME TO PLAY.
I just have to wait for 1 more day.
NO TIME TO DREAM.
It won't take me anywhere right now.
NO TIME TO CHAT.
I have to go offline soon.
NO TIME TO BLOG.
Then why am I here?

Oh come on!!! This has got to stop!!!! Just when I thought nothing would happen, I didn't have my knee brace on. Of all times, I slipped and damaged my knee.....AGAIN! How many times must this happen? I haven't recovered from my tendon injury yet. Dammit! And those hockey kids. "Can you get off the pitch please, we want to play some hockey". Ivanhoe High School. What are kids from Ivanhoe doing in Melbourne. Go back to school. Get your own field. They weren't even Melb Uni students. And why do they have to take the whole field? Like they would get any better that way. Should have looked at the coach. "Keep running, don't walk!" She's the one who needs the running. Pfftttt.....
Why....can't....I....beat....CHELSEA!!! I have a team rating of 200+ and Chelsea only has 100+. They had Adrian Mutu sent off, I am 4 goals up, and somehow, they still manage to fight back 4-5. The computer is cheating. It's absurd. How on earth can Geremi score twice? I would like to see Kleberson score 2 times in a single match. I tried different formations and different tactics. But nothing seems to work. I feel like crying man. The frustration, the disappointment....UH!!!!! If I can't beat them in my next try, I'll stop playing the game.....
Monday, May-24-2004
I'm bored. Nothing to do. Tried to play football, but I was reminded of my injury. Looks like there's nothing for me to do at all!!! I'm bored. Had a rare winning streak at GB. And I can't believe I can't beat Chelsea in the champs league.
Sunday, May-23-2004
The injury on my achilles tendon is not as bad as I thought. At least, I can walk properly today. Hopefully, it won't take as long to heal as it did the last time I was injured in the similar fashion. I still wanna play football this week!
><....the video system in church went berserk this morning. We couldn't show the presentation in church. Someone seemed to mess around with the output display options and we only found out the problem when we were trying to fix the problem for the evening service. It's also a good thing, coz we got an extra week to prepare for our next presentation since we're showing this week's next week.
Saturday, May-22-2004
Got a tear in my achilles tendon. In my new MTII. Craps. Traitor, I looked after you, I cleaned you, and you put me out of football for a couple of weeks. I'm not gonna wear you again. But it was a shit game anyway. I have plenty of space on the left but no one passes to me. I only got a tackle, a clearance and a left sided cross. 3 touches of the ball for all the running this morning, not to mention a new entry in my injury list. Haiz....
Real Madrid signed Samuel from Roma. Looks like they're going back to basics now. Real Madrid will end this season without a trophy despite having a squad including Ronaldo, Zidane, Figo and Beckham. Critics said the squad lacked depth and highlighted the team's weaknesses in defence. Real Madrid President Florentino Perez pledged earlier this month to sign another of the world's leading players. As their worst season in five years draws to a close Real Madrid have effectively ditched their 'galactico' recruitment policy.
The decision to sign Argentine international defender Walter Samuel, the imminent appointment of former player Jose Antonio Camacho as coach and David Beckham's announcement of his long-term commitment to living in Madrid are indications of a change in policy at the club. Samuel is precisely the sort of accomplished, but unglamorous professional that the club have eschewed in recent seasons, preferring instead to make only high-impact big-name signings that have failed to meet the footballing needs of the team. The rest of the squad was to be supplied by former youth team players who would cost the club nothing and be paid a tiny fraction of the salary of the leading stars. But the policy has backfired in spectacular fashion this year with Real self-destructing in the run-in to the end of the season. The club had released some of the brightest young prospects at the start of the season and those that remained were clearly not up to scratch while the 'galacticos' were simply burned out by the relentless schedule of domestic and European fixtures. Hopefully Madrid can go back to winning ways. But they got themselves a left-footed defender. Helguera is left-footed as well..... Hmm....would be a hard partnership to foster there.
My cell group and ISM Drama celebrated my birthday today. I was half expecting my cell group to commemorate my birthday, but when I saw the people from ISM Drama flooding into Anthony's place, I was pretty touched. Haha.....well.....hehe. Thanks guys. Oh yeah, Julie accepted Christ today. Magical things seem to happen on my birthday!!! Hehe....

This has certainly been a year of the underdogs. We've witnessed the biggest upset in the Champs League and every major league champions dechamped. Supposedly favourites to win the Champs League, Real Madrid, Arsenal, AC Milan, Juventus and Man U, were all kicked out in the early stages of the tournament, by least favourites Monaco, Deportive, Chelsea and Porto. Juventus, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Man U all failed to retained their title. It was the lesser teams like Valencia, AC Milan, SW Werder Bremen and Arsenal who will be looking to defend their title next season. Not just in football. In Troy, we've also seen how so-called sexist man on earth was killed by tail-behind-the-legs pretty boy (names concealed to protect the identity of the innocent. I know it's all plotted, but hey, it's still something to talk about). The only enjoyable thing about the movie was the war part, which all seemed pretty believable. The again, the architecture of the settings were pretty good too. :) But it's not my kind of movie, so I really can't comment on it much.
Check this out: YEARGHHH!!!!!. Max and Jon gave me this -----> as a birthday present. It was her first concert in Hawaii (which is not something haven't seen) but it also includes some clips from Saturday Night Live, Morning Latte and some others TV shows I'm not aware of. It was so cool!!! Seriouly Jon, I really forgot about it. I have been busy with my AD and essay and to think I would even bother to remember a set of numbers? Thanks alot dudes. Thanks for the beanie too. But you guys know beanies aren't my thing. LOL. Maybe I'll get you guys to sign it and I'll put it on my shelf. It's Nike and it's black!!!
Went for Troy with HY and her Palmerston friends. I'm not a movie critic, but refer to above for comments. I got three predictions right: We will be late for the 8:30 session and will have to catch the 9:30 run, HY will forgot to bring her student ID, we will end up walking home. HAHA.....I think I can take up fortune telling. But HY turned out to be the mastermind of a surprise. They convincingly got me to look over the balcony and just when I was left vulnerable, they sang me a birthday song. HAHAHA. I was a bit embarassed, considering that I don't know many of her friends, and I was also disappointed, that a person of my experience would let my guard down and fall for something like that. LOL. It would have been less surprising if my sister was the orchestrator, but HY??? Still, I don't blame sis, coz I forgot about her birthday too (HEY, I can't even remember mine!!!) and my mum had to call me to celebrate her birthday.
Thursday, May-20-2004
Nobody really showed up for AD. Left early, gave HY the things she wanted and went back to my essay. Who would have thought? The subject whom I have the most books of, has nothing I want!!! I'm talking about architect wannabe John Ruskin. I got at least 4 books on him and not one of them says anything about his contribution on polychromy to architecture. I only had 1 book on Semper and Jones and I got everything I want about them. Totally GAY!

Ling can be so lame. Sleep sleep. That's all she thinks about. Man, if she wants so sleep so much, just hop on a bus and go to another faculty. What a laughable excuse for not being able to make it to a 9 am lecture. LAMER. Just get lost.
Probably have to stay up on Friday to watch the FIFA Centennial Cup: Brazil vs France. I don't know who to support. I want Brazil to win. But I also want France to win. We have 2 of the best strikers in the world on the same field. How cool is that? Hehe. Maybe I can get some of my AD done then.

What the heck. Woke up at 11. Not time to waste. Got to the library early to look for books. Got just enough to get started with the essay. Did a bit of photo editing for the church presentation as well. OMG. Can't stop laughing. HAHA. Somehow, it's just funny trying to mask HY out of the pic. But then again, she's easier to mask coz she doens't have spiky hair like Hans. LOL.
Looking forward to the weekends. My essay will be due, only one presentation left and that's on Thursday. Plenty of time till then. After this week, I can start planning my holidays. Hoho... I got my VF-1S Valkyrie and the Striker Gundam System to assemble. Been eyeing on the 1:100 model of the Striker. That means getting the Aile, Sword and Launcher separately. Gosh. I still want that blue AZT90II. :S Oh yeah, Karen wants me to visit her in Sydney. Was thinking about visiting the Nike warehouse there. $$$$$

Was totally OWNED by the model. But my guiding light was there and so too was my saviour. Haha....I'm talking about Hong Yi. Of all people I'd expect to help me with my model. Then again, I didn't really expect anybody to anyway. What started of as a joke brought her to my place at around 1. She did all the little time-saving work like typing my details list, cutting and sticking. Without her, I would have been doomed. Even with her help, I just barely made it in time for the presentation. It didn't go too well, but at least I get credit for the neatness of my model. So thanks piglet....hehe. Couldn't have done it without you today.

No time to think, no time to play, no time to sleep. I'm starting from the floor level. And it seems like I won't be able to do a lot in time. Got my sister to help in the cutting of the balsa wood a bit, though she showed her annoyance by spilling root beer onto my drawings. LOL. Can't really be mad at her for it. I'm thankful. But bearing in mind my emotional state at the time, I couldn't help but show her a piece of my mind. She didn't take it too well though. Finished with my axo though. Now only the model left. This is one of those days that you wish it never came.
Saturday, May-15-2004
Gave Hong Yi a taste of what architecture is like. She helped paint some of my wall panels. Just the way a girl would. I just opened a new bottle of paint and when I looked back, it was half empty already. HAHA....what the heck...
The girls said they enjoyed the modelling session. Think we may have found a new generation of models. It's usually so hard to get girls to model. We have asked around 10+ people to help "encourage" Pei Li to be our model, but she is just so persistent. Sigh....
UNBEATABLE. Arsenal provided the perfect finale to the perfect season with a stirring second-half fightback to see off Leicester 2-1 to write their name into the history books. What Preston North End had achieved before them back in 1888-89 in going through an entire league campaign unbeaten, so Arsenal's 'New Invincibles' duly emulated over 38 unforgettable games. I will wear my Arsenal jersey to church tomorrow.
Friday, May-14-2004
Worked on the model. Played a shit game of football. Work on the model again. I simply asked people at random if they are willing to help my with my model. And of all people to agree, Hong Yi did. Oh well. Unexpected, but not unwelcomed. I sure need all the help I can get.
Thursday, May-13-2004
ARGH!!! My mood to play football was completely ruined. It was sunny, max of 20. Lots of space on the field. And I can't play. More specifically, someone made me not want to play. Max kept blabbering about the stupid model until my mind was diverted to my own model. Since when are you so concerned about your work, man? I thought you always try to make me skip my lessons and play football. Why are you different today? GAWD!!!! I missed my chance to play soccer for maybe 3 weeks.
Wednesday, May-12-2004
Giles liked my model. I left class early. There was some workshop at church, which I attended. Had a glimpse at the presentation for this Sunday. Looks alright. Haha...... Wanna make my model. But I had the drawings for tomorrow to complete. Man..... I'm sucked into this maelstrom of conflicting emotions. I don't know where to start!!!!
Tuesday, May-11-2004
The total cost of my model has reached the $150 mark. With that money, I could've bought a TV for the bathroom. And since I don't, I can move the toilet to the living room.
Man, all the trouble with the calculations and measurements. Just compounds the fuss of making something from nothing. HY commented that what I was doing looked fun. Well, it won't be if you have to do it EVERYDAY for the past 6 weeks -_-" Looks like I'll be doing an all-nighter today. If I can't finish this by tomorrow, I'll just stand out like a giant nose on a stupid face. Oh holy night~~~~
And my stomach is making its feelings known. ARHG!!! I can't entertain everybody, dammit. I have my own matters to attend to. I'm hungry too, so stop growling....
Monday, May-10-2004
Why does a player need to make 10 appearances to qualify for a championship winning medal? The farce of bringing Martin Keown on for a couple of minutes occurred again today and it is pathetic that the richest league in world football cannot afford to give every member a championship winning side a medal.
Also, Thierry Henry looked like he has started his holidays early.
Driven by some rare motivation today. At least I got the sub-floors done. But I'm really aiming to finish up to the walls. I've used up all my paint!!
And who would have thought dad wanted me to get him a pair of VC Shox. LOL. He's trying to look hip nowadays. Sounds like Mike who always begged me to get him new football boots from here. Haha.... Dad also gave me some more pointers for the House of Life. Neil gave me a list of books to look up for my essay. Met up with Blair and cleared my doubts for the ultra floor layout. Everything is coming together ^.^

It's fun writing in my own language once in a while. Don't understand.....lol. Too bad.
Saturday, May-8-2004
Chu Chan came and gave me an early morning call....and physiotherapy service. haha. She helped alleviate the pain a little, but still....uh... Don't think I'll be going anywhere after this. How can I get aches all over at once. It's absurd.... Tried to do some research for my MAA essay....futilely. All I can think of is going to sleep. At least, that's what I'll do for now.
Friday, May-7-2004
Wow, it's funny how people can get mad about little, trivial things. Like something people wrote a year ago. And it's also annoying how people only thrills in self-amusement. Then again. When you stretch out all of your 5 fingers, none of them are of the same length. We are all different after all.
Damn. I'm in 1000 Years of Pain (<--- some ninja technique). But not quite in that area (don't know what I'm talking about? Too bad). Had one of the best games of football today. Max and I each scored a goal. I had an unstoppable, long range cracker while Max scored from uh....mm.....I didn't see his goal since I was at the other end, but I'm sure he scored a good one. I think it was off a juggle and then a volley. Nice once man. Truly a touch of a genius. But I had to pay the price of the game as well. My trapezius, deltoid and flexors are aching. I think those were from the basketball game yesterday. And today, I had more pain coming from my quads and gastrocnemius. Wow. It's like walking with weights on the shoulders and one leg. Aw aw aw.....
Thursday, May-6-2004
Finally, FINALLY, Tania thinks that my plan for the House of Life is well worked. That settles it. I'm gonna play football sooner than later. Yeah, but nobody wanted to play today. And by the time I got to the field, there were so many people playing, I don't think I'll have a spot. Dammit, I bought all my gears with me. But I shot hoops with Hong Yi. Haven't played bball ever since Max and Jon stopped calling me....*sob. Where are you two anyway? Call me!!!! And we will have a good time. I will bring the ball!!!!
Yeah, anyway, my accuracy sucks. My lay-up sucks. I lost my touch (as always). Seriously, I can't play basketball anymore. Haha....but Yi was pretty good. She made more baskets than any girl I've ever played with...and probably more than me. Except for Diana maybe, who always shoot from the same spot. Then again, I think they are the only 3 girls who I've ever played with. The other was Max. Stop complaining about my elbows. It's a man's game. Play like one, sister....LOL (no offence). Said she's having a tournament tonight. Bet it was the same tournament the girls that Jon coached last time was in. Good luck man...
Sigh....one assignment due tomorrow. It's gonna be one hell of a night....:(
OMG Stam is gonna join AC Milan. What a dream defence they are gonna have? Maldini, Nesta, Samuel, Stam, Cafu. But since Samuel is going to Chelsea, my best bet would be Nesta playing at left-back, Maldini and Stam at the center and Cafu on the right. If only Madrid has this back line. They will be invinsible. Milan is gonna be a tough team to beat now.... Dam. But they lost 4-0 to Deportivo in the second leg of the CL quarter-finals. So where are all the stars? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Wednesday, May-5-2004
OMG. What a meaningless day. All we did in today's MAA tute was just designing some stupid arts gallery. It doesn't require much thinking anyway. The brief was to design a gallery in the Ecole tradition, so all I had to do was just coming up with a symmetrical plan with some colonnades and corridors. How pointless. I didn't get any more educated than before I enter class.
And I have to mention that this sem's CT tutes were rubbish. We spend 2 hours asking questions about how the houses in our drawing sets were assembled. Wait, I should rephrase. That's a 30-minute Q&A session and you wait for 1.5 hours accumulatively before and after your turn (obviously, everybody is doing something different) doing nothing. Blair should really be considering his retirement after this semester.

6 Things I Shouldn't Have Done Today
1. Stay at Home
There always seems to be something to distract me from my work; the omnipresence of the computer and the bed. Although I got a fair bit of work done, immobilizing myself slows down my bodily functions and made me felt real cold. And I couldn't resist the urge to...
2. Go Online
There's really nothing much to do unless you're online. Except for the routine e-mail checking and football news reading, the next thing to do is...
3. Play Gunbound
What luck. I was teamed with a bunch of noobs (including myself). I'm not sure if I won as much as I lost. But it sure had a demoralizing effect. Felt really bored though I have tonnes of work to do but can't be bothered and just...
4. Sleep
I tried, but all I could think of was Gunbound. I wanna increase my winning precentage. Sleeping ain't gonna help me do it. But I guess I'm out of form and I'll just end up losing more games. So I opted to....
5. Play Initial D
Same tracks, same cars, same opponents. After a few races, the game started to suck. In the end I just realised that I have...
6. Done Nothing
Nothing gets worse than this. Time is ticking, assignments are due, but all the bits and pieces of the model are still there... Dammit.... What have I done today?????
Monday, May-3-2004
There was nobody at the fields today. How unusual. You would expect those stupid Thai guys to be making a fool out of themselves there. Nobody at the courts either. How can people not play sports on a Monday??? Then all I can do is to wait for 45 minutes just to resume a long overdue meeting with Blair which isn't even helpful. I have to wait for 45 mins to ask a question and this other girl gets auto-entry coz she bought him a cheap cup of coffee from Brunnetti. And to think that academics at this level would practice a certain level of anti-corruption.
Had several rounds of GB which I rox. Kicked in several ultra high angles....which I all missed. And I could have settled for more than 1 kill and >1000 gold per round for my efforts. Was surprisingly in the groove of model making tonight. And why not? It's due on Wednesday!! It seems to start getting interesting. And why not? There's child labour involved!! Having to build this model all by myself. Why can Jon and Max make theirs together?? Get some brickies to lay bricks of a corner of a building all by himself and it would cost you more than a year's supply of beer. The worst part is, I don't get any beer for my untiring commitment and I still have to wait behind a girl who buys cheap coffee for Blair.
Sunday, May-2-2004
Intended to pay a visit to Lincraft to get some polystyrene. WTH is the ultrafloor anyway. Just some idiotic money making scheme. How can Blair sleep at night knowing his students are doing all-nighters wasting their lives away on some silly model. Think I might have to bribe him with more CDs just to spend extra time with me and some documentations which he left out on purpose to make our lives miserable. And that's not all. Lincraft JUST have to be closed on a Sunday. How GAY is that?? Gezuz. There goes my plan. Completely ruined by the Melbournian work ethic. I guess I have to move on to plan B. DDM requires a lot of work too.....
Got to beat Takumi in the RX7. And I really beefed up my R32 as well. Wow....my thumbs hurt. They really should make soft pads for the PS2 controller. Maybe they'll consider that in the upcoming PS3.
Saturday, May-1-2004
It's May already. And guess what??? The FA Cup final will be in another 3 weeks. Bah..but Arsenal's not in it. Which is sort of an anti-climax. Coz they are doing so well this season and only finishing with the Premiership trophy. Well, life don't always go the way you want them to, but finishing the season unbeaten....that certainly earns a page in English football history.
Played football in the morning despite the rain. I score the best solo effort goal in my whole footballing career today. Got past the last defender, one-on-one with the keeper, feints to the right and a far-post shot low into the corner. That could have been my best effort in the game coz I only got 1 shot on target after that. Pulled a tendon on my left ankle though. Puts me in a disadvantageous position for the afternoon game with my sister's cell group. Ahh...it really is a cold day for sports but it's a morale boosting goal :)
