ChristianCHRISTIAN
Television Champion
Nov. 9, 2005 - Feb. 15, 2006

After regaining the Television Championship, Rob Van Dam thought he was done with Carlito ... but he was wrong. Carlito kept calling himself "Chahmpeeon of the Television" until RVD was finally able to send him packing to rival promotion VCW after a brutal Ladder match. However, his next challenge came from a man who had already been on that side of the road, and returned to the side of the PWF, stronger than before. Christian had spent months as a dupe of VCW owner Excellence, feeding him information and working to weaken the PWF, most notably by getting Steve Austin fired.

One of his last potential victims was Van Dam, but while he was working to undermine RVD, he learned that Excellence was already in the process of betraying him. It was too late to turn back, however, and so he and RVD clashed at WrestleFest in a No-Disqualification match that RVD won by the slimmest of margins. The next week on Wargames, though, they met again, this time in a Triple Threat match with the Undertaker. Heavy interference from both D-Generation X and the Christian Coalition led to Christian getting the tainted pin on the Dead Man. After a week of contemplation, the PWF Championship Committee confirmed that Christian was, in fact, the new Television Champion.
