Hunter Hearst Helmsley's match with James Ace never actually took place. The two were scheduled to meet for Ace's World title, but the champion never showed up. Fans later learned that someone -- presumably Triple H, but we were never told for certain -- had altered James Ace's plane tickets so that he missed his flight, and did not arrive for the event until hours after it had ended. SCW president Ted DiBiase ruled at the time that since Ace had not arrived, he had to forfeit the title to Helmsley. By the time all the facts came out, Ace had taken control of the SCW itself and was no longer eligible for a rematch.
