Even after Mr. Perfect defeated two Rated R members in a single match, James Ace kept sending his allies after the Perfect Team and the World Championship. This time around, it was Del Wilkes who received the shot, and the two of them engaged in a war of words that has become legendary in the time since. The match itself was almost secondary to the personal rivalry that developed between Mr. Perfect and Dangerous Del, but in the end, Wilkes managed to eke out a win, ending perhaps the most competitive match in SCW history.
