XFL Cheerleader ad. Hey, what ever happened to season two?
Backstage, Trish Stratus offers Kurt Angle some special assistance, but Kurt obliges, saying that he doesn't need any help from Test & Albert.
Video package for Rock-Rikishi. Rikishi turned heel by revealing that he ran down Steve Austin at Survivor Series 1999, claiming he did it for The Rock. At No Mercy, Rikishi accidentally cost Rock the title, so Rock finally Rock Bottomed him.

Meanwhile, Undertaker returned and won the No. 1 Contenders spot in four-way match between him, Chris Benoit, Kane, & Chris Jericho. Taker's promoting his "Decade of Destruction" now, not to mention "Deadman Inc."
Michael Cole interviews Undertaker. 10 Years ago at Survivor Series, Undertaker debuted. Undertaker says Kurt Angle is going to take his Last Ride.
WWF Championship- Kurt Angle (c) vs. Undertaker

Kurt gets on the mic before the match, ripping on Florida's voting problems. "Normally, I'd ask each and every one of you to vote on your favorite Kurt Angle moment of 2000, but I don't want you to blow this one, too!" (Of course referring to the 2000 Presidential Election.) What the hell is Undertaker wearing? Snake skin pants are they? Angle stalls outside for a minute, so Undertaker grabs a chair and brings it inside. Angle hides behind the referee, but Taker gives Kurt the chair. Taker turns his back, so Kurt uses the chair. The bell hasn't rung yet, so it's all good. The bell rings, and Kurt is a house of fire on Taker. Taker clutches Kurt around the neck with both hands and tosses him to the corner. Slam and a leg drop get two. Taker follows, as they head back in. Kurt unloads. Angle manages a German suplex for two. Angle clotheslines him outside. He goes on the apron for the axehandle, but Taker catches him and slams him into the post, twice. Back inside, Taker works Kurt's lower back, and continues the assault with elbows in the corner. Cross corner whip, but Angle catches Taker with a shot and starts to work the knee. Taker hooks a chinlock, but Angle breaks free with some shots. Slugfest, and Angle wins. Taker takes him down with an armbar. Suddenly, Edge & Christian run down to distract the referee. Meanwhile, Kurt taps out to the armbar. Juh? Taker sets up for the chokeslam, but Kurt counters into a leg lock. Edge & Christian look on from outside. Taker breaks loose, but Angle hits a takedown for two. He continues to work the legs. Another leg lock. Taker fights his way out of it with punches and face rakes. Angle covers for two. Chinlock by Taker. Taker jams his leg into Kurt's face to break free from the submission. Angle gets a roll-up for two. Taker hits a Russian legsweep for two. Angle goes outside to rest. When Taker approaches from inside, Angle trips him and continues to work the leg by slamming it on the ring's apron. Inside, Angle locks in the figure-four! The crowd starts an "Angle sucks!" chant. Taker manages to turn it around, but Kurt gets to the ropes. Powerslam gets two for Taker. Angle hits a leg takedown and works the legs, some more. Ring post figure-four! Of course, not as good as Bret Hart, but cool and good, nevertheless. Inside, Taker makes a comeback with the quick body shots. Taker slams the champ's face into the turnbuckle for two. Angle lowblows out of desperation. Angle goes for a scoop slam, but Taker uses his weight over him to turn it around into Tombstone position. Angle manages to go over onto the apron, where Taker hits him off to the floor. Angle crawls under the ring, so Taker grabs him and throws him back in. Last Ride! Taker covers, but suddenly Hebner stops the count. Taker backs him into the corner. Another Kurt Angle, apparently the real one, runs in from under the ring and rolls Taker up, while grabbing the tights, to get the win to retain his title, at 16:17. Angle runs to the back, as Taker gets to his feet. Cameras zoom in on the imposter, who turns out to be Kurt's brother, Eric Angle. Lame ending, but at least it didn't hurt either guy's credibility, other than Taker's ability of sight as he couldn't tell the real Kurt Angle from a fake one. Match was alot better than I expected. ***1/4

Cameras catch Kurt Angle running out the back door and driving away in his car.
WWF Fanatic Series, in Novemer.. Steve Austin's Hell Yeah!
Survivor Series Elimination Match- Edge, Christian, Bull Buchanan, & The Goodfather vs. Hardy Boyz & Dudley Boyz

This is 2000's answer to a tag team Survivor Series match. In fact, Bull & Goodfather are actually Tag Team Champions at this point. Hey, anyone remember that? I sure didn't until watching this! Bull Buchanan & Bubba Ray start. Bull pounds away, working the back. Whip to the corner, but Bubba counters, and tags in D-Von. Bull misses a clothesline, so D-Von hits a flying shoulderblock for two. Bull tags in Goodfather, and they take down D-Von with running knees. Rope choke, and tag to Christian. D-Von reverses a whip and slams Christian to the mat. Tag to Matt Hardy, who cleans house of Edge & Christian. Everyone comes in for a big brawl. Quadrupal DDT by the Hardys & Dudleys! Hey, at least the referee isn't calling for a DQ here, right? The Hardys take off their shirts to reveal.. camouflage, just like the Dudleys! Hardys hit Edge with Poetry in Motion. Matt goes for the screaming leg drop, but Val Venis hits him off, and Edge hits the Edge-o-Matic to finish Matt. D-Von comes in with a swinging neckbreaker on Edge. Clothesline gets two. Blind tag to Christian, but D-Von still takes both Edge & Christian down. D-Von gets hit with a cheapshot by Bull Buchanan, allowing Christian to hit the Unprettier for the elimination. It's 4-on-2. Bubba Ray comes in to hit Christian with a big clothesline. Back drop and tag to Jeff Hardy. Jeff hits a springboard legdrop, but Christian tosses him outside. Buchanan gets the tag and nails a press slam. Buchanan stomp. Bull misses a corner charge to send him out, and Jeff tags to Bubba Ray. Bubba cleans house of the entire team. Edge accidentally hits Bull with a spear, so Bubba covers him to eliminate him. Bubba Bomb and sidewalk slam finish Edge, to make it 2-on-2. Goodfather and Jeff come in. Bubba comes back in, but Goodfather hits the Death Valley Driver to eliminate him. Christian whips Jeff into a Goodfather big boot. Jeff gets knocked into Goodfather. Christian charges, but Jeff tosses him to the ring post. One Swanton Bomb later, and Christian is out. Goodfather misses the formerly-named Ho-Train and Val Venis accidentally nails him with a clothesline from the apron upon the collision. Jeff covers to become the sole-survivor, at 10:05. Those last eliminations were quite rushed, no? After the bell, Right to Censor reform in the ring to take down Jeff. Val hits the Money Shot, as Matt & The Dudleys come out to the rescue. RTC gets whiped out. Both Matt & Bubba shove D-Von and yell "Get the Tables!" Matt holds Val on a table for Jeff to hit a leg drop through, while Bubba powerbombs Steven Richards through a table. Same old.. same old. Match was too rushed. *3/4

Once again... Armageddon, on December 10!
Steve Austin heads to the curtain.
Triple H & The Radicalz go over last minute plans outside their room.
Video package for Austin-HHH. At Survivor Series 1999, Austin was run down and injured for nearly a year. After Rikishi was revealed as the driver, it was clear that he had an accomplice. During a tag team match on RAW, it seemed as though Triple H came out to help Austin, but suddenly, he nailed him with a sledgehammer. Triple H explained his actions by saying that he ran the WWF in his absense. It's personal!
Triple H vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin

As Commissioner Mick Foley stated earlier, the match is No Holds Barred, and The Radicalz are banned from ringside. Immediate slugfest to start. Austin wins and sends HHH off the ropes, hitting an elbow. Austin rams his face into the turnbuckle a few times and chokes him on the second rope. HHH pokes his eyes and turns the tide by throwing Austin into the corner. Austin right hands him to the mat and works the lower back. He stomps away at HHH's face. Irish whip, but HHH hits the knee-facebuster. Austin comes back with a Lou Thesz Press and an elbow before tossing HHH out. Austin rams HHH into the guard rail and pounds away. HHH tries crawling away, but Austin catches him, as they get closer to the entrance set. Austin grabs one of the steel structures from the ground, but HHH hits it back at him, and... nothing happens, as Austin just drops it. HHH takes the advantage and rams him into the tech area's table. They fight further into the tech area. They fight out, and Austin hits a clothesline. Kick to the abdomen, and Austin goes for a vertical suplex in the aisle, but HHH reverses it. Both guys are out. HHH throws Austin over the steel steps and over the Spanish announce table. Austin reverses a whip, sending HHH into the other steps. Austin gets rid of the timekeeper table for more room to fight. Austin stomps and mudhole and tears apart the commentary table. He takes a TV monitor and hits HHH with it, busting him open. Austin hits some more right hands. Austin uses the beer cooler on him and drinks a beer in the process. HHH gets to his feet, but Austin nails him with the beer can. Yet another beer, before bashing HHH's head into the table. Lousy alcoholic. Austin's now working the cut by bashing his head into the steps. He grabs the ring bell and brings it inside, but HHH jumps him as he crawls in. HHH lowblows him out of desperation and rests in the corner. Slugfest, and HHH whips him off the ropes. Austin goes for the Stunner, but HHH counters and hits a neckbreaker. HHH hangs his neck over the apron and elbows it several times. He then even... presses his head against the ring post! HHH clotheslines him from the apron and heads inside for the first cover of the match, which gets two. Whip, but Austin kicks him in the head and starts to make a comeback, but HHH hits another neckbreaker for two. HHH mounts in position and pounds away. Criss cross, and Austin hits a spinebuster. He misses the second rope elbow, and both are out. HHH gets up first and stomps a mudhole. Back outside, and Austin nearly throws him into the crowd. HHH goes over Austin's shoulders and drops him over the railing. Bash to the timekeeper table. The bottom of the steel stairs are set up near the commentary table, so HHH gets on top to set up for the Pedigree, but Austin backdrops him through the table! Austin scoop slams him on all the rubble and works the cut some more. They head inside, where HHH begs for mercy. HHH goes for the kick, but Austin catches it and sends him into the corner. Mudhole stomping... how many times have we seen that tonight? HHH turns around into a Stunner! Rather than cover him, Austin goes outside to grab a chair. He sets it up on his knee and sets up for the Pillmanizer. He reconsiders, but sets it up on his face! Second rope, but HHH gets up and starts to crawl to the back. Austin fights him all the way down the aisle. HHH stumbles to the back with Austin following. In a hallway, HHH throws Austin into a steel box, but Austin throws HHH into a soda machine! Suddenly, all four Radicalz jump Austin, as HHH escapes. Referees try to separate the Radicalz & Austin. Meanwhile, in the parking lot, HHH gets into his car. Backstage, Austin chases Chris Benoit into the parking lot. HHH is waiting in his car. Benoit runs away, seemingly luring Austin into the trap that HHH has waiting. HHH & Benoit have no idea where he is, so Benoit runs back into the building. HHH opens the door to look around but goes back inside. Suddenly, a forklift picks up the car with HHH inside! Austin raises the car some 20-30 feet into the air. Why HHH didn't escape when the car was still on the ground is beyond me. We hear HHH pleading with Austin. Finally, the forklift begins to let go, and the car starts to fall, just as HHH yells, "Holy shit!" The car drops all the way to the concrete upside down, smashing the entire top of the car. Austin simply walks away, as the PPV comes to an end.

Of course, the preceeding segment was obviously pretaped, as HHH would never go for that bump. But then again, HHH would most likely be dead or out of a career at least. But this is the WWF, and he returned a few weeks before Armageddon, which is December 10, of course. The whole bump was pretty stupid and unbelieveable. The match went to about 25: 00 or so, and wasn't too good. I give it **1/4, as most of it was just brawling.
The whole PPV is basically a mixed bag, with some good and some bad. But, it seems that the bad just weighs out the good. The two best matches are the Undertaker-Kurt Angle and Rock-Rikishi, along with a decent Survivor Series match in the Radicalz-Former DX. The show basically set up for Armageddon, which in turn set up for the Royal Rumble. In fact, the first three PPVs of 2001 were amazing, so it's all good. As for this show...
