Hitomi

Hitomi Kanzaki is the main Character of The Vision Of Escaflowne. She is Pretty cool but she does get a little nosy and over concerned. At the beginning of the Show she is madly in love with Amano. It devistates her when she gets taken away fom him as she is sucked to where Van came from. Amano is also pretty upset. She is friends with Hikari and they do alot together. She falls in love with Allen and then realises later in the show that Van was better and so she ralls for him. She ens up going back to the Mystic Moon away from Van but I still dont know why she did that. She has a strong will and will never give up. You go Hitomi!! She has a pendant that keeps perfect time. What I mean is that if you swing it every swing will be one second long, they never stop, and they never slow down! The pendant is important to THe Show along with the Tarot Cards she uses to foretell the future. She doesnt like doing so and when She does its not pretty. The Pendant also helps her locate the direction in which they need to go to get somewhere. When she told that to Van he figured out something that caused him To Merge With Escaflowne. She also saves the group numbers of times through her telling of the future. Hitomi goes back to the Mystic Moon to finish what she left undone. The show never actually ENDS because Hitomi and Van still share a strong link between their worlds. Hitomi could probably go back to GAEA & Fanelia anytime she wanted. I'm sure Van would happily welcome her back. ;) She is one cool girl!
