The Dead Moon Circus
These grotesque circus performers are Queen Nepherenia's henchmen. Nepherenia has stolen their dream mirrors in order to make herself beautiful. The main ones that show up in Sailor Moon Super S are Zirconia, her pet eyeball, the Amazon Trio (Tiger's Eye, Hawk's Eye and Fish Eye), and the Amazoness Quartet (Ves-Ves, Jun-Jun, Cere-Cere, Palla-Palla).
The Amazon Trio is a group of three young men who spend their time torturing innocent people until their dream mirror pops out. They look in them to see if they can find Pegasus. If they don't find Pegasus, they kill the person so Pegasus can't try to hid in their dreams after that. Meanwhile, the particular Amazin Trio member on duty also releases a Monster du Jour to keep the Sailor Scouts busy (*sounds like B-ko in Project A-ko*).
After as short period but yet a too long string of failures, Zirconia attempts to eliminate the Trio with a monster named Mr. Magic Pierrot, an executioner who gets rid of unneeded things. Sailor Moon moondusts him, but we never see the Trio again.
Their successors are four young ladies known collectively as the Amazoness Quartet. Their method of Pegasus-hunting involves shooting billiard balls at the victim's back to punch out his or her dream mirror. Eventually, during a battle versus Zirconia, the Amazoness Quartet realize they've been used all this time (probably because Zirconia is draining their to boost her own), so they betray Zirconia and join the Sailor Scouts in fighting against her. they lose their magic, needless to say. But they don't lose their quickness and sneakiness. They manage to swipe the Golden Crystal from Queen Nepherenia when she's not looking, leaving her with a pineapple. The Amazoness Quartet eventually disappear when the Dead Moon Circus does.
Queen Nepherenia
Queen Nepherenia is the master villain behind the Dead Moon Circus. She looks a lot like an evil version of Queen Serenity. Some specualte she's actually Queen Serenity's sister, which would make her Serena's aunt. (*Talk about the family black sheep.*)
Nepherenia prefers not to work in the real world, because she knows as long as she stays in her mirror world, she'll nevr get old. She is pretty much the second most powerful villain in the show.
Evil "Sailors"
Three major henchmen, who turn innocent humans into Monsters of the Day and are on star seed extraction missions, show up in Sailor Moon Sailor Stars. They are technically evil Sailors—people whose star seeds Sailor Galaxia has stolen.
Sailor Iron Mouse is the first of thse henchmen. She tends to wear a sort of white mouse outfit. As a civilian, she goes around in a pin-striped Chicago gangster suit, complete with fedora, and sunglasses. When on a mission, she usually creates some diversion in order to get away via an old-fashioned telephone booth that appears out of nowhere, and stays up long enough for her to duck inside and vanish. She's not very successful, however, and just when she's gotten on to soemthing about the Starlights, Galaxia gets rid of her.
The next henchmen are Sailors Aluminum Siren and Sailor Lead Crow. Aluminum Siren is pretty, but is not so smart and is always eating (like Serena) and Lead Crow is smarter and more agressive. During an attack, Aluminum Siren realizes Serena is Sailor Moon and probably has the type of star seed Galaxia deisres. So, she sends Serena a challenge letter (and eventually, a plane ticket) and challenges her aboard the Starlights' charter plane. Her airborne attack fails, however. Galaxia finds this to be one failure too many and casually eliminates Aluminum Siren, much to the dismay of Lead Crow. Her new partner is Tin Nyanko, who looks a lot like Catwoman, but with a lot of little bells.
Lead Crow, reading from Aluminum Siren's notebook that Serena is Sailor Moon and probably has the star seed they're looking for, confronts Sailor Moon at a school festival. However, when Sailor Moon's star seed is extracted and glows, Lead Crow is swallowed by a black hole and never seen again. Tin Nyanko is only affected halfway by Sailor Moon's Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss attack. When Galaxia confronts the Sailors at the Starlights' last concert, she gets rid of Tin Nyanko too.
Sailor Galaxia
Sailor Galaxia is the most powerful Sailor in the glaxy and the most powerful villain in the entire show. When she finally shows up (besides when she frees Queen Nepherenia), the Sailors have what would be considered by most Moonies as their hardest battle. By the end of the middle commercial break in the last episode, most of the Sailors are dead, Sailors Uranus and Neptune have turned traitor, and Sailor Moon is left to fend for herself against Galaxia. (Sailors Uranus and Neptune do turn back to good once Galaxia is within range.) Darien may be dead too. How does it resolve? Does it resolve? Do we see the Sailors all alive and happy again, growing up as they should be? Do we see Serena and Darien getting happily married? How about the Starlights and their princess—do they ever go back to outer space? Plus, will we finally see the Negaverse defeated for good? Only time will tell. Go back to the first page
