This is the fourth Act of the manga that started the "Sailor Moon" phenomenon. This Act was written in as an anime episode. Any notes that I make based on the text will be in this colour; these notes are just for clarification and speculation. Enjoy!
Luna is at the arcade, calling up profiles on the Scouts and Darien. They say:

Luna thinks of Darien, "Friend or foe??? This guy's an interesting one..."
The next day, Bunny's mom is looking through the newspaper, and sees an article on Sailor Moon. She says, "Wow, that Sailor Moon came through again! I wonder who it is behind the mask...She looks so young." Also in the paper is an announcement that says, "Princess D arrives from D-Land". Bunny runs through the house, late again. On the street to school, she notices cops around the street. Luna runs beside her. Bunny introduces herself: "My name's Bunny. I'm also sailor Moon, Champion of Justice (but mom doesn't know). But being a Champion of Justice isn't so easy...I've got a whole slew of orders. First, I have to get rid of these really annoying enemies (they're not even human!)...Second, I have to find out who my fellow Scouts are...Third, I have to search for the mysterious "Silver Imperium Crystal" (whatever that is)...Finally, Luna told us to find our princess and protect her..." Bunny arrives at school on time. Molly tells Bunny that the Princess from D-Land is holding a party to display the "D-Land treasure". Molly is awestruck by D-Land's fortune in diamonds. Luna, meanwhile, is reading a paper on a student's desk. The headline reads, "Princess D, Heir to the D-Land Throne, Displays the D-Land Treasure!" A side bar says, "Princess D: Shy and Reserved".
After school, Bunny, Amy, and Raye meet at the arcade. However, Bunny is late because she had to stay after because she failed a test. Bunny introduces Amy and Raye: "Here are my two buds...Amy's the smartest girl at our school. She's also SAILOR MERCURY! And Raye is a beautiful priestess with a temper. She's SALOR MARS! They're my fellow Sailor Scouts!.
[Note: The following is in dialogue format.]
RAYE: Why do I have to be a Scout?! I'm too busy! Luna! Who is the Princess we're looking for? Which country? Do we have any clues? Also, you need to tell us your true origins and your role. Or else I won't be a part of it.
LUNA: The truth is...I can't tell you yet. You wouldn't believe me if I did.
AMY: But Luna, we need some info. About the enemy...the Crystal...
LUNA: The enemy is a mystery to me, too. I wonder how they got here...
AMY: But I thought we were chosen to fight the enemy.
LUNA: No! You were chosen to protect the princess. We can't find the princess because...She was kind of...sealed away.
AMY: Sealed away?
LUNA: So she wouldn't be found easily.
RAYE: Why was that necessary?
LUNA: Probably because the princess has the Crystal with her. The Silver Imperium Crystal possesses unbelievable power. It can't get in the hands of an enemy! [Meanwhile, Bunny isn't paying attention to the conversation and is playing a video game.] You haven't received your full Scout powers yet...We need two more scouts. Then your powers will become complete, and the princess will be unsealed. That's all I can say right now. OK?
RAYE: How do we become complete?
LUNA: It will come from your memory. You will have to remember.
RAYE: Remember?
LUNA (thinking): Especially Bunny. Bunny, you were the first Scout. You must become the leader and stop being irresponsible.
[end of dialogue]
Luna then jumps on Bunny, and tells her to pay attention. The arcade guy comes, asking Bunny about all the cops around. She tells him that Princess D is in town. All of a sudden, Melvin pops up, and shows them a picture of Princess D. She has glasses just like Melvin's, which covers up her face. Bunny says that she wants to go to the ball. Raye says, "That's not a good idea. I have a bad feeling. There will be trouble."
The scene changes to the Dark Kingdom. Nephrite sees the article about Princess D in the paper. He looks at Jadeite's corpse, and says he will find the crystal and revive him. Queen Beryl hears him and says, "Yes, Nephrite! With the Silver Imperium Crystal's power, you can revive Jadeite. The Dark Kingdom will rule the entire universe! The Silver Imperium Crystal...I want to see how beautiful it is...Find it for me now!!"
Bunny arrives home, and sees her father dressed up for the Princess' ball. He leaves to go to the ball. Bunny wants to go, and uses to transforming pen. "MOON POWER!" she says, and transforms into a princess with a lovely white gown, a small crown on her head, and flower decorations on her dress. At the ball, Amy and Raye are outside, while Bunny is inside. Everyone is wearing a mask. Bunny father sees her, but doesn't recognize her. Bunny accidentally bumps into a lady, and the lady's wine/punch falls on Bunny's dress. Bunny runs off to find the sink, and drops a handkerchief. Tuxedo Mask, without his top hat, picks it up. The handkerchief reads: "Bunny - Crossroads Jr. High".
Bunny, back from the sink, thinks, "I'm dressed up as a princess...But all alone...How lonely..." Tuxedo Mask sees her, and says, "Beautiful princess...May I have this dance?" They begin to dance. Bunny is shocked. She thinks, 'Tuxedo Mask?! No way. But, why...? Like a dream..." Her heart begins to beat faster. Bunny says, "Just now...I was thinking that I wanted to see you." Tuxedo Mask says, "Me, too..."
Luna comes up to the dancing couple. "Bunny!" she calls. Bunny turns, and says, "Luna!" Bunny turns back around, but Tuxedo Mask is gone. Bunny thinks, "Where'd he go...? My body feels...warm and relaxed..." Luna tells Bunny that they found Princess D. Bunny and Luna go see Princess D. Bunny says, "Luna, do you feel anything?" Luna says, "Nothing. She's not our princess." The people at the ball talk about seeing the treasure.
Princess D asks a lady standing by to guide her through the building. Then Princess D gets depressed. She says, "Everything's the treasure. No one cares about me...If I were prettier, then is would be different." The lady standing by (who is actually an enemy) says, "That's right! Who cares about you?" She turns into a shadow and possesses Princess D. Two guards investigate, but the Princess D shoots a beam of light at them. Princess D runs through the dancing room, and almost jumps off a balcony. Bunny runs in, and stops her from jumping. But Princess D just throws Bunny off her, and Bunny is left hanging onto the balcony by her fingertips.
Just before Bunny falls, Tuxedo Mask grabs her arm. While still hanging from the balcony, Bunny receives a message from Amy and Raye, telling her that the princess is possessed. Tuxedo Mask is also losing his grip, and both of them begin to fall. Luna tells Bunny to use the transforming pen. The pen lengthens until it becomes an umbrella, and both Bunny and Tuxedo Mask float safely to the ground. He says, "Thank you, Sailor Moon. You saved me." and then runs off. Bunny thinks, "No, you're always the one who saves me." Then she transforms. "MOON PRISM POWER! MAKE UP!"
Sailor Moon immediately notices that she's not wearing her tiara. She realized it must have burnt up. [Note: In the last Act, Sailor Moon used her tiara to trap Jadeite. Then Mars used her fire to burn him, and hence the tiara, up.]Suddenly, Sailor Moon feels very warm. She thinks, "Huh? My body feels so warm...Like when I held Tuxedo Mask's hand..." All of a sudden, a new tiara with a larger jewel in front appears on Sailor Moon's forehead. "A new tiara?!" she thinks.
Sailor Moon then jumps over to where Sailor Mercury and Mars are fighting the shadow that possessed Princess D. The shadow steals all of the guests' energy, including Bunny's dad's energy. Mars uses her "Aku Ryo Tai San!" fire attack, but it fails. Tuxedo Mask appears, and says, "Sailor Moon! To conquer the darkness, Use the power of the light!" Luna says, "Bunny! Use your new tiara to reflect the moonlight! Aim it at Princess D!". Sailor Moon says, "I won't let you possess the princess! On behalf of the moon, you're punished!" Sailor Moon holds the jewel on her tiara and says, "MOON TWILIGHT FLASH!!" The jewel begins to glow brightly, and the shadow is destroyed.
Back at the Dark Kingdom, Nephrite watches as his shadow is destroyed.
At the ball, everything is returning to normal. Princess D wakes up, and her glasses fall off. Sailor Moon, Mercury, Mars and Luna are shocked. Princess D is very beautiful without her spiral glasses on. [Just like in the anime.] She puts on her glasses again, because she can't see without them. The Scouts wonder if Melvin looks handsome without his glasses, but quickly dismiss it. [There is a picture of Melvin with his glasses on, and another one right beside it of a handsome guy, supposedly Melvin without his glasses on.]
After everyone wakes up again, Princess D reveals the D-Land treasure. It's a statue of Princess D. Princess D says, "Made of 2000 carats of diamond [yeah, right...] it's a statue of D-Land's queen!" Mercury and Mars are disappointed. Meanwhile, Sailor Moon is exhausted, and thirsty. She drinks a cup of wine (I think). At any rate, she begins to hiccup and bump into people (indicating that she's drunk). She bumps into Tuxedo Mask, and falls instantly asleep. She clings onto Tuxedo Mask, who blushes. Tuxedo Mask remembers how Bunny was dressed up in a princess gown, saying how she wanted to see him. He places Bunny by the balcony, and kisses her on the lips. He thinks, "...ahh...This feels...like something from...a long time ago...somewhere...soft lips...warm arms...many, many times...sweet kisses..."
Suddenly, Luna appears, saying, "Get away from Bunny! Tuxedo Mask...Who are you?! Why do you always appear?" Tuxedo Mask replies, "I'm also searching for the Silver Imperium crystal." He softly caresses Sailor Moon's cheek. (She's still sleeping). Luna says, "Are you our enemy? Or on our side?" Tuxedo Mask replies, "I don't know...We both want the same Crystal...So we may be enemies."
Later, in the city, a storm is brewing. There are flashes of lighting and rumblings of thunder. A girl runs through the storm. She's very tall, with her brown hair in a ponytail. "A storm has begun..." she says.
