This is the last Act. The story concludes in Volume 4, which I unfortunately do not have access to. Any notes that I make based on the text will be in this colour; these notes are just for clarification and speculation. Enjoy!
As Sailor Moon plunges the stone sword into Tuxedo Mask's chest, she thinks, "Endymion... You are my first love...my only love...Even if we're reborn in another life, we'll find each other...and then...we'll fall in love again..." She then takes the sword and stabs herself with it.
The remaining Sailor Team members look on in horrified silence.
Sailor Moon thinks, "Endymion...We'll transcend time...to live again, perhaps this time... We'll find happiness...Endymion..." She and Tuxedo Mask fall to the floor in a pool of their blood.
Sailor Venus cries, "Princess!! This...This can't be what we were reborn for! This can't be our destiny! Nooo! We're just repeating our former lives!"
Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask lay on the floor, near each other, with their eyes closed. The Silver Crystal floats up from Sailor Moon's body. A bright ball of light from Tuxedo Mask's body jumps up to rejoin the Crystal.
Luna, watching, says, "The Imperium Crystal's reuniting...?!"
The Crystal, now glowing brightly, flashes and the bodies of Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask are encased in a crystal mountain. "No way!" says Sailor Jupiter, "The Imperium Crystal's covering them up!!"
Sailor Mercury cries, "Stop it! If we let the Crystal grow here...!"
Suddenly, the castle begins to rumble and shake. Out from some dark corner, Queen Metalia emerges. She's still a shadow with eyes, but this time is at much stronger. She says, "Such strong light...This white light will fill this kingdom of darkness with energy! With power! Now...I can move freely! This time...everything...is mine!!" Metallia extends her shadow to encase the Crystal mountain. She also tries to suck in the Sailor Team, but Luna jumps in and flashes Metallia with her crescent symbol. Everyone is thrown against a wall.
Venus looks up to see a very black shadow surrounding the mountain. The stone sword, however, is nearby, and not encased in Metalia's shadow.
Luna cries "Princess!!" Luna hears or remembers (it isn't clear which) Queen Serenity saying, "Take care of her...She's your mistress." A picture of Bunny in her school uniform and Princess Serenity in her white gown, both smiling, is shown. Queen Serenity says, "Even if times change and she doesn't look the same, she's your one and only mistress...I couldn't save her, my dearest..." Luna runs toward the black mass.
Metalia breaks out from the castle, headed toward the surface. The Sailor Team chases her.
At the surface, Venus and the others face a sea of gray rocks. The vast amount of rocks reminds Venus and the others of the ruined Silver Millennium.
Queen Metalia says, "So long I have dwelled underground in secret, imprisoned by the Queen of the Moon Kingdom...But I live again. The power of the Silver Imperium Crystal is filling me! This time...This planet is mine!" She emerges from the rocks, ten times the size she was earlier.
Jupiter wonders what kind of monster Metalia is. Mercury says, "It got this big with the Imperium Crystal?! How can this be?!"
Venus, with a determined, "Hnn!" cries out "Venus Power!!". The others follow suit. "Jupiter Power!!" "Mercury Power!!" "Mars Power!!" Then they use their "Sailor Planet Attack!!"
The attack hits Metalia, but she simply laughs, saying "I feed on your energy...With the Imperium Crystal, I am invincible! No one can stop me!" With the added energy, Metallia is now stronger. She has more of a body shape, but is still a black shadow. She has defined eyes and mouth, and a mark on her forehead.
Venus and the other can't believe that the attack failed. Mercury picks up a hurt Luna, and tells Venus that they have to go back to Artemis. They quickly go back to the Crown Center and Artemis greets them worriedly. He immediately goes to the wounded Luna.
Sailor Venus says aloud, "Queen Metalia has gotten loose...She's covering the sky over Point D and getting larger and larger...They were sucked in...The Princess and Prince Endymion were sucked into that monster with the Imperium Crystal."
Artermis says, "So, Queen Metalia is using the power of the Crystal to grow..."
A news report on the TV shows that cold fronts are moving all across the country. The Sailors realize that if it keeps up, the whole world could be destroyed. Mars wonders if Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask are all right.
Luna wakes up, and says that Bunny is alive. She says the Crystal is probably protecting and healing them.
Venus declares, "We have to go back to Point D! We have to stop her! We have to get the Princess and the Imperium Crystal back!!" She and the rest of the Sailor Team disappear in a flash of light.
Luna moans in pain, and Artemis tries to help her. He says that Luna's wounds from the previous battle (when evil Tuxedo Mask blasted her) have reopened.
Luna confesses, "Artemis...It's my fault. I couldn't save her...Bunny was so confused... But I made her fight the person she loves...Artemis, take me to the Moon. To Mare Serenitas, to the Prayer Room in the Moon Castle...to where the sacred pillar of prayer, the Crystal Tower once stood..." She and Artemis arrive at the Moon.
Luna walks over to the place where the stone sword once lay, where the Queen last appeared. Luna calls, "Queen...!! Please...just once more, grant us an audience...Queen Serenity!! Please! Release the Great Power of the Moon! Imprison Queen Metalia! We need that power to save everyone! I'll pray in place of the Princess! Please help us...!! Princess! Bunny!! You must be alive! You can't be dead!"
Artemis looks to the earth, which is covered in darkness.
On Earth, people are trying to evacuate the city. Everyone is poisoned by negative energy. One man gets in the way of another, and the first man stabs the other across the back with a knife, drawing blood. The entire city (and, presumably, the world) is in chaos.
Back at Point D, Metalia is looming in the distance, while the Sailor Team watches. They wonder how Metalia she got so big, and wonder how to stop her. Venus says, "The Imperium Crystal couldn't have been abosrbed that easily! We have to wait for our chance to strike down Queen Metalia...without harming the Princess and Prince Endymion. We don't have the power to imprison Queen Metalia...But we'll make an opportunity using our greatest power, the morphing power of our guardian planets!"
Mercury says, shocked, "Venus...!! You're talking about our pens...?"
Venus replies, "To lay down these pens...is the same as laying down our lives..." Each member of the Sailor Team takes out her transformation pen. [Note: Venus' pen is slightly different than the others. Her looks like a real pen, with a transparent cap, while the others' pens look like they do in the anime. Venus' pen is from "Codename: Sailor V", which predated "Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon".]
The Scouts jab their pens together. Venus holds up the stone sword against the moonlight. She says, "Sacred blade that protects the princess. Sword of the Silver Imperium Crystal. Shine for us once more. Slice throught the darkness and make it through...to the Princess. We give you our power, our lives..."
Throughout Venus' speech, the others power up. "Venus Power!!" "Jupiter Power!!" "Mars Power!!" "Mercury Power!!" They all raise their pens to the sword. Venus says, "Princess!! Sailor Moon!! You must be alive!!" Sailor Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus cry, "MAKE UP!!" and throw their pens up. Venus says, "Awaken! Princess!!" Their combined powers shoot out a bright beam of light into the black mass. As it hits Metalia, the transformation pens snap, and the Sailor Team falls down. Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus lay on the floor, in a pool of their own blood, dead.
Metalia, unharmed once again by the attack, laughs at them, saying "Foolish Sailor Scouts."
[Flashback to the Silver Millennium]Serenity, blushing but determined, says, "It's not just for fun! You don't get it, Venus. Because you've never fallen in love with anyone before!" Serenity sticks out her tongue and makes a very immature face at Venus. "You don't understand my feelings!" Serenity then runs off.
Venus, with a sweatdrop on her head, says, "Geez, you don't know anything..."
Venus remember how once she caught Serenity on Earth, and scolded the Princess, saying "Princess! You're here again?! We have to go home!" And, in the memory, Kunzite chuckles, "It must be hard having a bundle of curiostiy for a Princess." Venus blushed, and Endymion came up, calling Kunzite's name. Mercury then came up, calling Venus, and Venus quickly swatted her blush away.
Venus then says, "I'm worried about her...One day she will be the Queen, her duty to watch over the Earth and protect the Silver Imperium Crystal...She won't get hurt by falling in love will she...?"
On the Earth, Serenity, with Endymion, says, "I feel safe here, watching the sea and feeling the breeze."Endymion replies, "How does our planet look from the Moon?" Serenity says, "It looks like a beautiful blue crystal ball." They kiss. Serenity, now in Endymion's arms, says, "So warm...When I'm with you...It feels like my heart is transparent...I feel my power growing...I wish I could stay like this forever..."
Serenity looks to a dark cloud in the distance. "Endymion," she asks, "What's that dark cloud?" Endymion says, "I don't know...Some time ago, that darkness and a crowd of large stones appeared there. They keep spreading over this planet..."
The manga then flash-forwards to the end of the Silver Millennium. Endymion is protecting Serenity from an angry mob. The mob is lead by Beryl's old form (in black top and white skirt), who has the shadow of Metalia over her. She holds a sword, and stabs Endymion with it. Serenity cries out "Endymion!!" She then takes the sword and stabs herself with it.
The other Sailors, watching, cry, "Princess!!"
Queen Serenity, sobbing, looks on the stairs of her palace, where Serenity, Endymion, Venus, Mercury, Mars and Jupiter lay dead. She thinks, "I felt this love affair might end sadly. A love between Earth and the Moon could never be..." She thinks of Metalia. "I'll seal it away...that demon...And this Moon as well...I'll seal you away and give you to the future!" She takes out the Silver Crystal, glowing brightly against the moonlight.
Princess Serenity thinks, "Endymion...This time...We'll be born on the same planet...and we'll find happiness." Darien and Bunny, in their school uniforms, pass each other on the street in the future. Serenity thinks, "My Silver Imperium Crystal, I beg of you...help me find him... I'll hold you to my breast...We'll protect you together...This time we'll find happiness..."
[End of Flashback]Sailor Moon wakes up in darkness, inside of Queen Metalia. "Where am I...?" she thinks, "It's so cold...so dark...Am I alive? Is this a dream?" The Silver Crystal appears, floating in the air, and glowing brightly in the darkness. Its light allows her to see Tuxedo Mask lying nearby.
She calls to him, "Endymion." She starts to remember what happened. "I stabbed...myself...?" She takes out something from under her uniform. It's Darien's moonwatch, shattered. "Darien's pocket watch...I had it at my chest...It's been smashed...It took the sword for me?! It's not a dream...I came back to life alone?" She begins to cry, looking at Tuxedo Mask. "How could this happen...?" she asks. One of her teardrops splashes onto the Crystal. The Crystal opens up, like a flower, with many crystal petals. (It's exactly like the flower-crystal from the Sailor Moon R movie).
Sailor Moon puts her hands over her ears, hearing angry sounds, saying "Kill! Kill!" She asks "What am I hearing...? Hatred and malice..."
She hears Metalia's voice, saying "Such beautiful darkness of heart. Destroy each other and make this a planet of death. I have the Silver Imperium Crystal...I control everything!!"
Sailor Moon realizes that they are inside of Metalia, and that they're surrounded.
Metalia speaks to Sailor Moon: "So you've awakened, heir to the Moon Kingdom?! Such lifeforce! Such impudence! But I have you now...I'll crush you!!"
Sailor Moon, holding the flower-crystal, says, "No!! Have to fight from here...!"
"What are you doing!? You're heating my body!" yells Metalia.
Sailor Moon holds the Crystal, saying "Imperium Crystal! Lend your power!!" There's a bright
flash. Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Moon leave the darkness. "We're out?! We were encased in Silver
Imperium Crystal?!" she wonders.
Sailor Moon holds Tuxedo Mask's hand. "Your hand...It's getting warmer and warmer..." she
thinks. She calls, "Darien...?"
Tuxedo Mask opens his eyes, which seem to be scarred. "Sailor Moon...?" he asks.
"Darien...!" Sailor Moon says, tears in her eyes. "It's a miracle!"
Tuxedo Mask says, "I can't see...!"
Sailor Moon, panicked, says, "Darien?! No...! Your eyes?!"
Queen Metalia looms up behind Sailor Moon.
Sailor Moon takes the Crystal and shoots a beam of light to her.
Metalia says, "Such power! So much stronger than that lump I took in! Give it to me! That Imperium Crystal! That power!!"
Sailor Moon thinks, "She just keeps getting bigger! Why?! Why doesn't the Imperium Crystal imprison her? Don't I have enough energy?!" She hears Luna and Venus telling her to hang in there. Sailor Moon wonders, "Where are Luna and the other Sailor Scouts?! Where are my friends to keep me going?! We fought this far together! Where are they?! Metalia couldn't have...?!" She tries to blast Metalia again, with no result. She thinks, "Can't hold on... I can't imprison her! I don't have the strength!
"Sailor Moon," Tuxedo Mask calls. "I can feel it...Sailor Moon, I can feel your grief, like I could reach out and touch it..." Tuxedo Mask touches his chest, where Sailor Moon had stabbed him with the stone sword. "ow..." he mutters. His hands close around broken fragments of rock. "The stones I put in my breast pocket...Four stones..." As he holds the stones, Kunzite's image appears.
Kunzite faces Tuxedo Mask, and says, "Our master...We finally meet..."
Tuxedo Mask wonders, "Kunzite...? Is it you?"
Kunzite tells him, "Queen Metalia is the empress of the night. She has the power to turn those
who oppose her into stone. She is a demon who can absorb all energy and use it to expand
her body of darknes..." He points to an image of Metalia, with her eyes, mouth and mark
on her forehead white against her body's black shadow. Kunzite continues: "That mark on her
forehead...That is the heart of Queen Metalia. If you concentrate your energy on an attack
there..." he trails off. Kunzite's image then fades away.
Kunzite reappears with the images of Jadeite, Zoisite, and Nephrite. They say, "Master, we are glad to finally see you...This time find peace together..." Their images disappear.
The stones Tuxedo Mask holds in his hands finally crumble away. He says, Kunzite...Jadeite... Nephrite, Zoisite...You stopped teh sword for me...? You brought me back to life?"
Tuxedo Mask then turns to Sailor Moon, who is still trying to battle Metalia. "Sailor Moon! Metalia's weak point is her forehead! Don't cry! Where's your usual energy!! Believe in yourself! Your friends did!" Sailor Moon turns to him, tears in her eyes. Tuxedo Mask continues, "It's all right! Your friends are watching you from somewhere. Gather all of your power. If that's not enough, I'll give you mine. I'll help you instead of your friends. I'll stay by your side...Serenity..." He touches her face.
Sailor Moon looks at him, saying "Endymion..." They hold hands, and Sailor Moon thinks, "He always gives me strength..." The flower-crystal begins to glow brightly. She thinks, "I can feel the power and courage growing in me and the Imperium Crystal..." Tuxedo Mask stands behind Sailor Moon, and she is facing Metalia. She continues, "Growing stronger and stronger... Unbelievably strong..."
Metalia is surprised, saying "Ohh! You can control the power of the Crystal?! This little girl con control the Silver Imperium Crystal!" Sailor Moon stands, holding the Crystal, behind a full moon. Metalia says, "I won't let you imprison me! I'll break you into tiny pieces! I'll rip you to shreds!"
Sailor Moon cries, "No, Queen Metalia!!" She whips out her moon wand, which lengthens into a staff. She says, "You are the one who's gonna turn to dust!!"
Tuxedo Mask squints against the moonlight, saying "I can see the moon! Shining so bright!"
Sailor Moon stands with the full moon behind her, holding the moon staff and Crystal. She cries, "I, Sailor Moon, Princess Serenity...With the power of the Moon...WILL SEAL YOU AWAY!!"

Post-recording parties are fun. I wanna go!! ...sniff. But I've only been a few times to the Sailor Moon post-recording parties. (I only got to talk to Jadeite once). Sob sob. Still! Kotono Mitsuishi, who does Bunny's voice in Japan, is just perfect for Bunny! Whenever I go to the studio, hers is the loudest, most energetic voice there. She's really pretty.
