Sunny and warm, bit cloudy too.
I had a pretty good day today. I went to work and for the first few hours was very busy. I had two classes back to back, then I did some prep for next week. I had one more class, and did a bit more prep for next week. Then, I waited for my last class. I'm still waiting. One student was very busy and called, said she couldn't come...no problems. The other student? Where was he?
I sent Fumihiko a mail and asked him to come and pick me up right at 9:00 pm. I didn't get any reply. At 9 I called home to see if he'd fallen asleep on the couch. He hadn't. I decided he must still be working so I decided to bike home. I sent him a mail saying that was what I was doing.
I was biking home when a car honked at me. It was hubby. He'd passed me. He hadn't read my emails. He turned around and we talked. He was going to put my bike in his car, but I said I might as well just ride it home. I did, and I enjoyed the ride quite honestly.
When we got home I blew up one of my bike tyres. I've been noticing that it's been difficult to ride lately, and today I checked and the back tyre was quite soft. Fumihiko blew up the front one for me. Yay.
We went to an izakaya tonight for dinner. We had a great meal. There was eggplant with cheese, yakitori, pork and kimchee, lamb and veggies, salad. Everything was great.
When we finished we went to the grocery store to get a few things for Fumihiko. He's got a busy day tomorrow. He's climbing Mount Kinbo tomorrow with some of the kids. He's been buying supplies for the day. He's also got a drinking party tomorrow night.
Luckily, I have a cunning plan! I intend to go somewhere tomorrow to do some shopping and enjoying of my private time! It means I have to get up fairly early, but it's not a big deal. Hopefully! I say that now, but will I at 8:00am? I doubt it!
