Hot and sunny, but not too hot. Yeah!
A mostly good day. However, just for my own sanity I do have to say that today is the anniversary of the day my Dad died. It was a long time ago, but I still feel that the family problems surrounding his death could have been prevented if some nameless person hadn't been so suspicious or vindictive. It's water under the bridge now, but some things still hurt.
I slept quite late this morning then got up and did a bunch of email things. Fumihiko wanted me to go out for brunch but I kept putting him off. I don't like to eat too early as I have to wait until after 8 pm to eat again. Finally, I let him take me out.
We went to Edoichi, the Evil place. I call it that because we both eat way too much when we go there. It's not the greatest, but being that it was Friday, and not the weekend, it wasn't as busy as usual. Thank goodness.
Afterwards, we went to a few stores to have a look. One that we went to was the jigsaw store. I saw a cool jigsaw globe, it had Alphonse Mucha's paintings on it . I was tempted to get it, but didn't. The next store was a new one in our city. It had a lot of character goods. If it was in Canada, I'd say it was a lot like the store San Francisco. It sold some joke things, some nice things and some kinds of things that you don't want your parents or kids to find! The last place was a household goods store. I'm still on the quest for a new teapot. This place was my last hope for Tsuruoka, but it didn't have anything. Wah! I just informed hubby now that we have to try the fab kitchen place in Sakata next!
We made a dash for my school after that. I had wanted to get there at 4:30, but we didn't leave the last store until 4:40, so that was a pipe dream. I got to my school around 5 and got busy. I had to plan today's classes and tomorrow's too. Luckily I get to teach the same thing in two different classes so I made it. Yeah.
Classes went well, okay, one was great, the other was so-so! After I finished and did my paperwork, I called hubby to pick me up. We went to Cocos for dinner and then came straight home. At home we both did computer stuff until Fumihiko took his bath.
I have an earlier morning tomorrow as my classes start in the early afternoon, so I have to get off to bed. I'll catch you tomorrow night with all the cool things from my day!
