Cloudy but not too cold.
Today was good. We went to bed extremely late last night so when the doorbell rang this morning we were still sleeping. It was the post office delivering Christmas presents. I didn't even open my envelopes, I went back to sleep!
When I finally roused myself it was afternoon. Sigh. Fumihiko wanted to go to his doctor so I did a quick shower and then we went to the Daiichi Hotel for lunch. It was quite good. After lunch, Fumihiko went to the doctor and I went shopping. I found a store that I'd never gone into before and found that it sold men's clothing in larger sizes. Yay. Long story short...I have most of hubby's Christmas present now. Hurray. I did a bunch of other things at the mall too. I got a refill for my organizer, got more wrapping paper and stuff for my school. I'm planning/scheming what kinds of things we can do for our Christmas lessons.
When Fumihiko and I met up we did more running around. He'd had a shot and felt much better. We did a lot of shopping, and things that we can't do in the evenings after work. One new thing that we did was to go to a Cafe near my school. I was a bit nervous in case it wasn't a place I'd feel comfortable in, but I think I'd be okay there. Some days I have a long break in between my classes and I don't want to spend all my time at the school. Now I have somewhere that I can go, even if it's just for a cup of tea or coffee.
We had a nice dinner at Gusto and did a grocery shop. I'm going to cook at home tomorrow. Yay me! I hope.
This evening when we came home I started working on our nengajo. I did the first stamp on 20 cards. This year, the design that I'm using is done in 3 steps. They aren't difficult or anything, but the first imprint has to be dry before I stamp on top of it with another colour. Every year I swear I'm not going to do stamping the next year, and every year I do. What's wrong with me? I think it's because I really love stamping and this is the only time I get that it's "okay" to get my stamps out of their shelves and use them.
That was my day today. Both Fumihiko and I are sneezing away. I think it's an allergic reaction to being in our tatami room last night...where we set up our tree. However, I've learned that it's best not to tell him that as he doesn't believe me. Allergies don't exist if you don't recognize them you know!
That's it. I am out of here! Oyasumi everyone.
