Sunny and cool.
An interesting day. We went to bed really late, but even so, I went to bed before my hubby. I couldn't sleep though. I laid awake for hours. In the morning I woke up early, before 7. I fell asleep and woke up at 8:20am. Unfortunately, Fumihiko was still in bed with me! He was supposed to be on his way to work.
He got up, but ended up coming back to bed. He called in sick today. And he WAS sick too. He hadn't told me he'd been sick the night before, and his stomach was still upset. He went back to bed and slept most of the afternoon.
The realtor called him early in the day and made arrangements to meet later on at another possible school site. We got there and had a look. This one was smaller than the other one, but it's in an office building. This office was on the first floor. It's almost perfect! It has a western style toilet, a tiny kitchenette. It is a nice room, with big windows. It doesn't have an air conditioner or a heater. I think that both of us are thinking it'll do nicely.
After that, we went and looked at the outside of yesterday's building. It's nice, but the stairs up to the office are really steep, and the toilet is Japanese style. It also only has one parking space. It's close to a government office that has lots of parking though, so maybe people can park there, but it's not a good idea!
We had dinner and made a lot of plans and thought about what we should do in the next little while. We don't even have a name for my school yet.
We came home and decided to watch a movie. Today's viewing pleasure was The Mummy. I love it. I've wanted to get the dvd for ages. One big problem that happened was the dvd kept stalling all the way through. At one crucial plot point it stopped and then we got the ending credits. Argh! An internet search told me that since our machine is region free, it might be the coding on the dvd. Last night's Rebecca was a different company's dvd - it was fine. Hmm.
That's about it. We're thinking, plotting, and thinking. I think we're probably going to go for today's office. It was very nice. It's a scary thing though. Fumihiko is being quite supportive, thank goodness.
My day. The first part was really quiet, the last was exciting. Fumihiko is goingback to work tomorrow. He feels a bit better I think.
