Sunny and quite warm.
It was an okay day today. We both slept in quite late, watched some Olympics in the early afternoon, then went out for our brunch. Today, we went to Jiro.
After that I got a nice surprise. Fumihiko suggested going to look at possible places for a school. We found one, and looked in through the window. It has possibilities. After that, we went to a rental office to look at what they had on offer. There were two that were possibilities. We were able to go and see one of them today. The one we saw was on the second floor of another store, a big room with hardwood floors. It was sunny as there were big windows. It was a little small, but had potenial. The downsides for me were that the stairs were very steep, and the toilet was Japanese style. It was also a little far from our apartment, but in summer, it wouldn't be too bad I think. Winter...well, who knows!
We checked out the location of the other place. It's closer, but Fumihiko thinks it'll be smaller. We might go and see it tomorrow.
We went to Marica after all of this to have coffee. I wanted to go to the hundred yen shop too. We went, had a lovely cappuchino, and bought a few small things in the shop downstairs.
When we left the parkade, it happened. We were talking about having dinner and Fumihiko suggested a place near the station. We were zipping around the exit ramp and I was getting quite sick. He swung back onto a level to park. Then we decided because the parking is on a three hour free charge, to go out and then come back in. He was circling the car so fast and I was getting sick. I was really upset. And then, at the end, he wouldn't park on a lower level, he parked on the 4th one again. I told him I couldn't go back down through the ramp. I'd meet him outside.
I think he thought I was being stupid, but since I got this cold my balance has been a little wonky. He drives very fast down the ramp and even closing my eyes didn't help.
When we got to the restaurant, I didn't feel like eating and I told him to order. He didn't bother asking me what I'd like. He ordered a bunch of food that I wasn't very interested in. I have a few favourites at that place that I would have liked.
We had an argument of course. I ended up eating some of the stuff, but not all of it. I was still feeling a bit sick from the exit ramp.
When we left the restaurant he made me wait at a bus stop and he brought the car around to pick me up. Thank goodness. I really couldn't face that exit again.
We bought a few groceries, then came home. We had a little wine and watched Hitchcock's Rebecca. We both really enjoyed it. I'd never seen it before, and it was one of the first movies I've seen with Laurence Olivier as an "actor" rather than an "ACTOR".
That's pretty much it for me for today. So so day. Don't know what'll happen tomorrow. Wish me luck!
Night.
