Warm and sunny, lovely day!
I slept in quite late this morning and then took a shower. After a quick cup of coffee we headed off to have lunch. Lunch was okay, but not great.
We went to an electronics store after lunch. Fumihiko had some lottery tickets he wanted to check and I wanted to see if there was a cd player for the bathroom. Since Fumihiko spends such a long time in the bath, I thought he might enjoy listening to music there. We found quite a few, and Fumihiko ended up buying one.
We went to the mall in Mikawa. First we went to the hardware store where I got a new lid handle for my slow cooker, then he got a new shelf unit for our dvds.
We saw Flight Plan in the later afternoon. It was good. It falls apart if you think about it afterwards, but during the movie it works well and was quite exciting. Jodie Foster is always good too.
After an hour or so wasted playing stupid coin games, we went to our favourite restaurant to have dinner. We were waiting for our first course when we decided that we'd go to karaoke after dinner. We were joking around with each other and Fumihiko asked me if he should ask the waitress to come with us. I knew it was a joke so I said sure. Then, she brought our first course and he asked her. At first I thought he was asking her for the pepper and salt, but then I realized that he'd asked her to come with us to karaoke. HUH? He told me afterwards and was stunned to see that I wasn't best pleased. I said to him,"I don't even know her name." I tried to make the best of it, but I really just wanted to go with him. He weaseled out of taking her by saying that we had to go somewhere after dinner.
After dinner he asked me where I wanted to go and I said, "To the grocery store to buy kerosene tickets and then home." He'd lied to the poor woman so I wasn't about to make it worse by actually going without her. Plus, after all this, I didn't really want to go anymore.
We came home and he set up the new dvd case. Its in front of the old bookcase/dvd rack. I'm not sure why. He also tried out the new stereo. It maybe works well in the bathroom, but in our living room/kitchen it sounds a bit tinny. After his bath he was playing music on it so I asked him to turn it down. He got all huffy and now is in bed reading. I'm at my computer all huffy. What a pair we are.
No plans for tomorrow. I can't get him to make any at all.
Anyway, I have to go. Have a good night.
