Sunny and warm, lovely fall day.
A good day. I overslept, but not too badly. Yay me! I got up in time to watch the news in English (No Baseball--Yay!), made the bed and showered. I spent a lot of time at my computer.
In the afternoon, I watched last night's Doctor Who and was appropriately freaked out. Is it just me, or is that show about a million times better than it used to be? Christopher Eccleston is great. I hear that there's a new Doctor in the UK now, but I'm enjoying this one.
After I finished brunch and washing up, I biked off to my apartment. I was a bit nervous to discover that a huge yellow and black spider has taken up refuge beside my bike. It didn't move much, so maybe it's not in the best of health. I left it alone. I told it if it didn't bother me, I wouldn't bother it!
My class went well today. My student today is very nice and we had a good time. After class, I did paperwork and came home.
When Fumihiko came home a couple of hours later we went out for groceries. He was in charge of cooking tonight and decided to have yakiniku. We got some beef and pork mixes with garlic. They were okay. The pork was much better than the beef. I had planned to get some ground beef/pork mixture and ground chicken and make tacos tomorrow night, but hubby wanted to take advantage of the buy 3 packs of meat for 1000 yen, so I didn't buy it. Probably just as well.
We came home and got out the yakiniku stuff, and cooked dinner. It was, okay. I wasn't happy with the meat honestly. It was okay, but it burned too easily.
In the evening we just relaxed and around ten gathered around the telly for Desperate Housewives. That was fun. Tonight Bree got to re-bury Rex, Gabrielle got a new lawyer for Carlos and Lynnette had to go drinking with her boss. That last storyline reminds me of many workers here in Japan! Except, Lynnette found a creative solution to get out of it...if she couldn't beat her boss, she'd join her on the dance floor.
And that's it. I'm trying to get hubby to give me ideas for his birthday celebration. As of yet, nothing doing!
Have a good night. Oh, if you haven't already, check out yesterday's meme. It was a good one I think!
