Sunny and warm.
I was at home, minding my own business this morning when Fumihiko came back from work. He'd taken the day off as his back was bothering him again. I sent him off to the doctor and in the meantime I cooked my brunch and got ready for work. He returned just as I was finishing up the dishes.
He drove me to work and went back home. I opened up the school and checked that the class was ready to go. It was. My student came and we had a good class. We were doing TPR. She can say the phrases, I'm just not sure if she understands them!
I had a break after that class, so I relaxed, drank some tea and read more or my Chatelaine. I enjoyed it. It's interesting to read a magazine with almost nothing about terrorism. And refreshing to boot.
My next class went quite well. We did a song and the kids were great. These two like singing.
After class I called my hubby and he came and got me. We went first to S-Mall to pick up his watch and get me some cappucino. It was darn good. After that, we went to Yamaya, the liquor store that sells foreign foods. I picked up a few things that I thought I needed! I got things like tandori paste, taco shells, and wasabi flavoured nori! Yum. Then, I wandered over to the hundred yen shop. I got a lot of things there that I'll be able to use for the school. I got more construction paper, a shoe horn, some non-marking pads for the bottom of the benches in my school, that kind of thing. Yay me.
We came home after this and I started to make dinner. Tonight's lovely repast was sausages with asparagus stir-fry and salad. The asparagus stir-fry was quite good. Tonight it had a mix of asparagus, zucchini and onion. I threw in a few spices as well as some vinegar. It was good. I think the onions should have been cooked more, but it was okay.
Hubby did dishes. I've spent the rest of the night on my computer while Fumihiko watches inane Japanese TV. It is soooo bad. It's worse than the worst cable access show generally.
I'm off work tomorrow, but hubby has to work. We might go to a movie in the evening as it's cheaper tomorrow. I'm not too fussed though honestly, I'm not anxious to see anything like I was last weekend. Still, hubby wants to go so maybe we will.
I'm hoping to just relax and enjoy my day tomorrow. I might even do some housework if I get really motivated. Doubtful though!
Night.
