Clear and not too cool.
Started badly, got better.
I went to bed around 3 this morning, but hubby didn't. I guess he slept on the couch. I was awakened at 7:30 by noises from the living room. Next thing I knew he'd gone off in his car somewhere.
I got up, refilled the kerosene heater, and watched the news. I also made myself a small pot of coffee. That was nice.
When the news finished I took down my Christmas cards and then I took down the Christmas tree. It's so much fun to decorate it every year, but such a lot of work to undo it all at the end. Too bad there isn't a way I could keep it already decorated somewhere! Not practical though. It took a couple of hours to take everything off and box all the decorations up. I'm thinking about getting a bigger tree next year as this one is a bit too small for all of my decorations.
I was really, really tired in the afternoon so I took a nap. A long nap. I was having the weirdest dream too. I dreamt that I was in my sister's house, except it wasn't really her house...it was my dream of the house. Anyway, her fishtank started flooding and water was pouring over the bannister and down the steps. Then her dog Una (she was one of my sister's dogs when we were on the farm) came towards me with a broken leg. It wasn't really Una, it was a similiar looking dog, but not her. I grabbed the dog and that's when I woke up. It was a very strange dream.
Soon after that Fumihiko came home. We talked but only a little. He went to bed and slept. I cooked myself an omelette and felt a little more cheerful.
Later on, Fumihiko watched some tv while I checked the net. I got an update from one of the groups that I belong to. One of the members has just been diagnosed with a very serious illness. I'm worried, but she has a good attitude.
Quite late at night, Fumihiko asked me if I'd like to go out to eat, so I said yes. We went to Gusto and had an almost friendly meal. Then on the way home we picked up a few groceries and then came home.
At home I prepared the garbage for tomorrow. One of Fumihiko's duties is to take the garbage out. I'm never up at the time the garbage has to go out!
So, today was better. I still need to talk to me hubby about sommat, but I'm not gonna talk about it here.
