Snow. Snow. Snow.
Finally, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, two weeks too late! I woke up early this morning and looked outside to a winter wonderland. We must have had at least 10 cm of snow overnight, and it kept snowing all day.
I had a hard time getting Fumihiko up this morning. He was supposed to go to the dentist, doctor and work on a report today. He's finally managed to do all three, but it took a while. (And he's still working on the report at 2 am.)
He went off to the dentist, then came home as he couldn't get in right away. He did go off to get a shovel for clearing the car's parking space. While he was off I watched the news and then took my shower. He came back around 12:30 so we went for lunch to the hotel. It was quite nice today, and not crowded.
After that, I got Fumihiko to drive me to my school. I took along our old shovel to clear my school's parking lot. Of course, Fumihiko had to be the tough guy and start clearing my parking space, but I finally got him to leave. I wanted him to go to the doctor! He left, and I continued shovelling snow. It wasn't fun! However, I think I got the space quite well cleared and then I went inside to finish preparing for my class.
My student and I had a good lesson, and after she left, I did up my paperwork and waited for Fumihiko to call me. And waited. It was after five before he called, but I really didn't mind that much. I was reading my movie magazine Empire and it was very interesting.
Hubby came to get me. Neither of us were quite hungry enough for dinner yet, but we didn't want to go home. We went to S-Mall for a while. I looked at the hundred yen shop and didn't buy anything, then I bought hubby a cafe mocha. I had a cappucino. They were nice. It was nice not to rush this time.
Our first choice for dinner was closed so we went to Cafe Frambois for dinner. It was really good. I had chicken with cheese on top, Fumihiko had a steak. After dinner we came home. Fumihiko was a sweetie and let me out near the door, but then as he was parking the car, I chased after him to remind him to get kerosene. We were nearly out.
He took out our empty tanks and went in search of a gas station. He has tickets from the grocery store and they can only be used at one particular brand of gas station. He couldn't find any open, so he had to buy one tank somewhere else. Poor guy. He was gone for ages and I was just starting to worry about him when he came home again.
We passed a quiet evening at home. He's been working on his report for hours. I watched Desperate Housewives with him tonight and I could tell he wasn't really paying attention because he asked me the dumbest questions! Oh well.
I might go to bed before him because I'm tired, and he's got to finish his report. The poor guy. I hope he manages to get some sleep.
Night.
