Snowy, snowy, snowy.
It's past 2:30 in the am and I have to get up early tomorrow so this'll be short and sweet. And about time too. Lately I've been pontificating a little too much!
I got up early enough to watch the news this morning but was interrupted twice. The first time was by a postal worker delivering boxes. My husband was the lucky recipient of two boxes from my sister. Then, Fumihiko made a brief stop by to pick up his glasses. And proceeded to chat all through the news. I so loved that!
I showered, cooked breakfast and left. I was out of the apartment before 12:30. I had to walk. There'd been too much snow overnight for me to ride my bike. When I got to the school I had to shovel the parking space. It wasn't too bad, but it had to be done.
My lessons today were fine. The child who is a trial at times, was okay today. Maybe he was happy to see me? In my long break I went to Tsukiya for a quick bite, then came back and watched a bit of The West Wing. Great show! After the lessons finished I texted Fumihiko and found out that he'd be a few minutes, but not too long. I finished up my paperwork and then watched the rest of The West Wing.
Tonight's dinner was courtesy of Bronco, the steak house. I'd talked about it in one of my classes and a steak sounded good. We had quite a nice meal. For part of the time there was a dog running around on the road. It was a Shiba, just like Fumihiko's dog. I was worried in case it got hit, but it wasn't. It was someones pet I think. It had a collar and looked to be in good condition. I asked hubby if there was someone we could call to pick up the dog, but he didn't sound too enthusiastic about it. I guess they don't really have Animal Shelters like we do in Canada. It disappeared after a while. I'm hoping it made its way home.
We bought groceries at the store, then of course when I came home I remembered about 3 things that I should have bought. That's what comes from not making a list.
We had a quiet evening at home. Around 1:30 I put on my video from this afternoon of Cold Case and watched that. It was okay. I haven't watched Grey's Anatomy yet, just haven't had time.
Hubby's in bed now and I should go too. I've got to get up, walk to the school and then shovel out the parking space again, so I need lots of energy!
That was my day. A bit busy, not relaxing at all. I'm glad that it's Saturday tomorrow. Yay!
