Nice day.
Had an okay day today. This morning we were woken by a phone call from one of my students cancelling today's lesson. Sigh.
I had gone to bed last night before Fumihiko so I was able to get up this morning and watch the news in English, both the English and the US versions. I also watched The Sopranos since I didn't have to rush off. Later, I showered and then got a call from another student cancelling. Sigh. That's two in one day!
I went off to work for the one remaining class. It went...okay. The student wasn't too excited today. After class I prepared for tomorrow and then called Fumihiko. He came to get me, and we went home.
Fumihiko was in charge of making nabe today, and he did a great job. He made a pork, mizuno, mushroom and tofu nabe. Yum. We both added a bit of yuzu-kosho to our bowls. It really livened it up. I made coffee to go with our meal and then I did the dishes afterwards. One nice thing about nabe is that there aren't many dishes afterwards to wash up. Yay.
Fumihiko had a bad-ish day at work. He had to use a chain-saw for a lot of the day and his arm really hurts now. He's tired, but not tired enough to go to bed. After dinner he found The War of the Worlds on tv and watched it. I was a bit ticked because it was okay once, but I didn't want to watch it again. However, we did.
When hubby took his bath, I watched the end of today's Project Runway. There were some great dresses and some terrible ones today. It was wedding dresses day. They were interesting. One model asked that her wedding dress be covered with diamonds...another wanted roses.
Anyway, that's it. Tomorrow I should have a little bit busier day I hope. Wish me luck anyway! Night night.
