Hot and sunny.
A good day. I slept in very very late today. I needed it! I got up around 9:00 and then ended up going back to sleep. I got up a lot later. I drank some coffee and checked email, took a shower, the usual stuff.
Around 2:30 I went out for lunch. I wanted to get out of the apartment, so I hopped on my bike and went to the Japanese style restaurant that's not too far from my home. I had a quite nice meal. I had ginger pork and shu mei. I think the waitress was more nervous than I was. Still, everything went fine.
After lunch I went to the bank machine and made a deposit, then came home.
Fumihiko was home at a decent time tonight. Yay. He was very tired though. I gave him some iced coffee and then sent him off to walk his dog.
When he came back, we spent a bit of time together and then went out for dinner. He suggested Togashi for yakiniku. We went there but they were busy. They offered to call us back when they had a table for us. We went and looked at a hundred yen shop. I didn't buy anything, although hubby did!
We went back to the restaurant and had a very nice meal. At the end the waitress came over to see if we wanted to have dessert...it was free...and Fumihiko ordered one. For himself. He didn't even ask me if I wanted any. Their dessert is ice cream....not too spectacular or anything, but it would have been nice if he'd asked me if I wanted any. I'm not really on my diet anymore. Grr. He did notice that I was a little ticked off on the way home, although I didn't really tell him why.
When we got home, Fumihiko fell asleep on the couch. He was out. I got him to move during ER so that I could sit on the couch, but he slept through it. It's too bad, because the show was good tonight. And I forgot to tape it. Sigh. At midnight he took a shower but then went back to sleep on the couch. Poor thing. He didn't get much sleep yesterday. He's still on the couch, but is really out of it. Me, I'm listening to Quirks and Quarks, but I think I'm going to finish up and go to bed soon.
