Hot and sunny, a bit muggy.
I got up early this morning, for me, had a coffee and watched a bit of news, then went back to bed and napped. I was having a really interesting dream and that's why I didn't want to get up properly.
I did all my usual morning stuff, plus watched yesterday's Cold Case. While I was making my brunch I put on an episode of Corner Gas and it was soooooo funny. I'm not sure if The Littlest Hobo was on in other countries or not, but they did a riff on the show. I spent my teenhood watching The Littlest Hobo because there was nothing else on, so it cracked me up. Hank thought that the Hobo was in Dog River and....well, I can't tell you, that would spoil the fun now wouldn't it??
I took off just before 2 to get to my school. It was quite hot when I got there so I had to run the air conditioner quite strongly. I emptied my ice making gadgets, and put the ice in a bag. I need a lot of ice this weekend. I set up my school and when the student came, taught her. We had a good lesson. We talked about a lady who lives on a plane.
I came home via a drugstore. I got a battery for my kitchen timer. It works a lot better now. I came home and waited for hubby. And waited. And waited!
Around 8 I started watching The Transporter. It was very cool. I even got off my computer and sat on the couch for that. (Okay, my favourite time wasting site was down and I couldn't do anything on it, but it was nice.) Of course, Fumihiko came home in the midst of the movie. He ended up getting sucked into it too. We didn't watch it all, I taped the ending, so I'll/we'll watch it later, but I have to say that I think Jason Statham is very cool.
We had a quick dinner at Gusto tonight. We both had chicken with different fixings. I had Japanese style with spinach and egg on the side, hubby had deep fried shrimp, rice and soup. The restaurant was very crowded so we could only get a small table in non-smoking. After we ate, we talked about dinner for tomorrow night. I wanted to know if I should buy something for it or not. However, hubby thought he might be late again, so we decided not to buy food to cook. We'll go out again.
We came home and I watched Without a Trace. I like that show a lot. Tonight had a runaway boy on it. He was autistic so it was a more unusual case for the team. Lots of family secrets were revealed.
And that's it for my night. It was a quiet day, but in a good way. Tomorrow, another one day class, but this time it's in the evening. I hope to run to the post office to mail something in the afternoon. Apart from that, I'm not sure what I'll do. Read me tomorrow to find out. Night!
