Rainy, humid, rainy humid day. Did I mention it was rainy?
An okay day. I did manage to get up this morning. Unfortunately, I did take a short nap on the couch, but eventually did take my shower. I was fine after that!
I had quite a good morning, quiet, but good. I cooked my brunch and then went off to the school. Even though I wore my raincape, I got quite wet. Sigh. Darn this rainy season anyway.
My first class went well. The student and I had a good time. We talked about nationalities today. After her class, I did paperwork then planned her next class. I decided to go out and get something to eat just around 4:30. I changed into my bike clothes again, then went out. I had just unlocked my lock when it started to pour again. I debated going or not, but decided I'd hit a drugstore a bit closer than the convenience store that I had wanted to go to. I picked up a few things and then came back to the school.
I read and ate and then at 6:00 pm my other student came. Today, he was okay. He'd had trouble with the homework, so we talked about it, then fixed it. We did a lot of physical stuff today, so he got to use some of his energy which was good. It was a good class. He did start to act up at the end of the time, but all in all, he did well.
After he left, I cleaned up, did some paperwork and then sent hubby a text message. He sent one back saying he was still working. I decided to do some paperwork and was doing some of it. I got a bit tired and put my head down for a second. The next thing I knew my husband was calling me on my cell phone, about an hour later! I was so out of it that I couldn't answer the phone. I had to call him back. Fumihiko came to get me, and we headed home.
Tonight was taco night. I got busy when I got home. I chopped tomatoes, washed lettuce, set the table, made coffee and finally cooked the meat. We had a great meal and we enjoyed the taco mix very much. It was good. Hubby did the dishes, then we relaxed for a while.
I suggested that we watch the rest of Transporter. It was great! It was over the top, silly, slick and fun. It was so...not American! I don't mean that to sound bad, but sometimes US movies are very similar. You know exactly what's going to happen. In this one, lots of different things happened. I especially liked the fight that happened in a garage. Some oil got spilled on the floor and people were slipping and falling all over. Then, the hero grabbed a bike, and ripped off the foot cages on the pedals. He wore them and used them like spikes to stay out of the oil. It was hysterical. Then...he poured some of the oil over himself. Of course, no one could catch or hold him!
The rest of the evening was quiet. We turned off the TV, Fumihiko read his book and I checked the computer. It was a nice and low key night.
Tomorrow I'll be busy. I have to teach two classes and then go grocery shopping for my party. Wish me luck!
Night night!
