July 3, 2007 - Tuesday

Sunny and warm.

A pretty good day. I managed to get up a reasonable time and did laundry. I had coffee and a relaxing morning and early afternoon.

I had a couple of lessons today and they went well. After my second class my student and I chatted for a while and then I got ready for going home. I called hubby a bit late and he came and got me.

We hit the grocery store to pick up the eggs I'd forgotten last night. Of course, we bought a few other things and hubby did his walkabout thing around the store! Men.

At home I cooked dinner. We had pork chops and chicken. I know it's a strange combo, but someone accidentally took the pork chops out of the freezer on Sunday and took them to the barbecue. Not sure why. Anyway, they thawed out, so we had to cook them or toss them. I cooked them. We also had a daikon salad and pumpkin salad. Everything was quite nice.

We had a quiet night. Fumihiko started to grind coffee just as Monk started so I wasn't too impressed. He doesn't seem to realize how much noise he makes. He really is a noisy guy. After I shusshed him, he didn't say much for the rest of the night so I was worried that he was mad at me. After he went to bed I went in for a cuddle, and it seemed to cheer us both up. Yay.

I just spent a lot of time on Facebook updating a new application that I added. It's a listing of the cities that I've visited. I was up to 79 or so when I stopped.

Well, that's it for me. It was a quiet day, and it was nice. Tomorrow I have an afternoon class, then I'm free. I'll chat at you tomorrow night and you can hear what happened.

Night-night!
