Sunny and warm. Lovely day!
Today was good. Yay. I got up...sometime this morning and showered. I spent a lot of time on my computer and watched a bit of TV. I also watched Gray's Anatomy from yesterday. It was good, as always.
I ate my brunch around 3:00 today and watched a couple of episodes of Corner Gas. They were funny, as usual. I'm not sure what happened with that show. Usually Canadian TV is the unfunniest stuff around. It's all pompous, set in Ontario, and there's usually the obligatory French character. Corner Gas (for those non-Canadians out there) is set in Saskatchewan and it's a hoot. It revolves around a small gas station and cafe in a miniscule little town. The characters are well written and acted, which is another big surprise for Canuck TV. It's a lot of fun.
I left for the school a little before 4 and got there just after 4. I got busy. I checked my set up for the lessons, then turned on the coffee maker for hot water, and changed. As I was changing, I realized that I hadn't packed anything to wear to day. Yikes. I didn't have time to go home again so what to do? Luckily I had some shirts in my closet at work.
I had three classes back to back. It's not easy, especially when some people don't leave on time, but it all worked out quite well. Hurray for that. In my third class we spent some time talking about my student's upcoming trip. She's having trouble with making reservations for tickets and hotels, but I think she'll be able to manage. I told her I'd look into things for her, I did, but as I don't have her credit info (which I don't want anyway!) couldn't do any booking for her.
After classes I cleaned up the little bit that needed done and called Fumihiko. He came to get me, and then we went to Cocos for dinner. It was quite nice. The place was busy tonight, but that was okay. We had a fairly decent dinner and then hit the grocery store. Fumihiko thinks he'll be early tomorrow so we're going to have yakiniku at home. That'll be nice I think. I'm looking forward to it.
We spent a quiet evening at home. We were both on our respective computers, not talking much, just being there. It was nice.
When hubby took his bath I set up the coffee for breakfast tomorrow morning. I had to grind the coffee so it wasn't as easy as it sounds! He's officially in bed now, but actually has been popping back to the living room to get medicine for the last few minutes. He's been complaining about a sore throat for the last couple of days. I hope he's okay.
Anyway, that's it for me. It was a good day. I don't have plans for tomorrow yet, but hopefully thing's'll be fine! I'll talk to you tomorrow night. Night night!
