Sunny and cool. Not very warm today.

I promise, tonight's update will not be as long as last night's. Sorry about that.

Okay, I overslept this morning and was woken by the delivery guy at my door. I'd taken some books off a person in another part of Japan. I had to pay for the shipping too, so it was a good thing I had money in my wallet.

I showered, dressed and after a quick breakfast, I went to City Hall to have my "Alien Registration Card" updated. It wasn't very difficult really, except the woman marked a few areas on the form for me to fill out that I really didn't need to fill out. She wanted me to put my employer (that's me) and my place of work (obviously my school) but with my type of visa, it's not necessary. So, I didn't fill them out. Ha! They updated my card and I went on my merry way home. There are benefits to living close to City Hall after all! The whole trip took less than an hour.

When I came back, I did a bit of weeding in the non-garden, then relaxed for a while. I ate lunch around 4 and then headed out to work around 5.

I got busy at the school. I'd left everything mostly ready, but I had a few things to do. I also checked the lesson for tomorrow's student, then got ready for my class. The students were a little early, but only 5 minutes. That I can handle! We had a good class, it was about colours. Afterwards, I sent them home with their mum and did a quick finish up. I sent Fumihiko a text to see if he wanted to pick me up, but he called me back. At 8:20 pm, he was still working. And in Sakata. Sigh. I told him I'd just go home then.

I biked home, stopping at the drugstore for a few minutes, then made it home about 5 minutes before he did! During my trip, he'd called me and said he was finished.

Fumihiko was supposed to cook today, but didn't feel like it. So, we went to Cocos and had their grilled chicken with garlic soy sauce. It's really nice. We did buy groceries for tomorrow's dinner as well. We'll still have to pick up some veggies tomorrow, but...

We came home and spent a quiet evening together. I made a pot of tea around 11:30 and we had it with some strawberries that he'd been given a few days ago. I'd washed them in the morning.

Today was really nice. If my scalp had ever stopped hurting, it would have been even better.
