November 15, 2008 - Saturday

Clear and sunny.

A strange day. When I got up this morning Fumihiko had already left for the doctor's office so I watched the news and then showered. When Fumihiko came back he didn't say much, he just headed back to bed. That's not a good sign.

My schedule had been a bit moved around today, so I didn't have to go to work as early as usual. I was going to ride to work because it didn't look like Fumihiko was going to get up. He did though, and suggested going to the Daiichi Hotel for their buffet lunch. We went, and it wasn't very good. Carb city. Pasta, rice, spaghetti, and potatoes. After a bit they brought out a few more dishes that were a little healthier, but I was getting antsy to leave. One funny thing that happened at the restaurant was that I saw my student, the one that was my first class of today. She'd just finished at university and had come for lunch! We were both surprised to see each other.

I went to the school and then got changed and checked my set up for today. I'd left most things ready, so it was fine. My student, the long absent Friday night one, came and we had a good lesson. She'll probably switch to Saturdays now. I'm just happy if she comes to class.

My second student of the day came and we also had a good class. After she left, I was done! I finished up for the day, set up a little for Tuesday's first class, did dishes, and then started to feel horrible. I got a screaming headache, so I just decided to lie on the floor and take a nap. I didn't even get out my little futon, I thought the floor looked comfy enough. I woke up over an hour later, mostly because I got an email on my cell phone! I still felt horrible. I called Fumihiko and left a message asking him to come and get me.

He came and my headache was just pounding. He took me on an errand first and then we came home. I went to bed and slept for two hours. I did take some medicine first though.

When I got up, the headache was mostly gone. I could feel the edges of it, but it wasn't too bad. I'm not sure if it was a sinus headache or if it was a withdrawal from caffeine headache. Either way, yuck.

We went out for dinner to Grado and had the same thing, pork saute and chicken cutlet. It was nice! The coffee was only lukewarm afterwards though.

We came home and vegged for a while. We watched our usual TV for Saturday, Grey's Anatomy and Heroes, and then The IT Crowd. That show is sometimes very funny, and sometimes not so much. Tonight was a medium funny show.

Anyway, it is now 3:30 am and I have to get some sleep. Tomorrow we're off to a party in Sakata and so I won't be updating unless I send in a quick cell phone update. Don't worry about me!
