Lex over the years. But what will happen when Superman's path crosses once again
with that of his old friend? I loved the twink at the end of this story - not to mention
one of the best NonEvilFutureLex(tm) characterizations I've come across. 100K
Later Days by C.Roxane Slash. Future fic. One of the best rift-in-friendship stories I've seen so far. We all know what happens in canon to Lex and Clark - but is there hope for CLex despite it all? Extra points here for one of the most creative uses of Kryptonite that I've ever read. 167K

but what a tasty little biscuit it is! Clark seems to be in need some tutoring for his
French class, and Lex is just the person to teach him why it's called the 'language of

Matthews Slash. Ah, yet another one of the great slash writers migrates
to a new fandom. As usual, Kellie's stories have it all -- great writing,

by Debi Non-Graphic Slash. I love the sense of, well, normalcy in this
story. Set after the 'Jitters' ep, the Kent family insists on taking care of the injured
Lex. Of course, Clark's idea of TLC is a little different from that of his parents.

Spike Non-Graphic Slash. Lex self-medicates to find out more about
Cassandra's visions of his future. Will the Kents be able to save Lex before his mind
succumbs to self-fulfilling prophecy? As always, The Spike's writing will keep you on
the edge of your seat. 69K
Never Here Here To Be Be What May by
Maygra Slash. Ah, the gentle burn of a slash story that takes the time to
explore and develop the relationship between the characters. And who does it better
than Maygra? Clark and Lex spend a little time in each others' world, but will it be
enough to find more than friendship? 45K, 105K, 43K
Sleep While I Drive by Jenn Slash. Lex. Clark. Roadtrip. It should be so simple, right? The smart money, however, says that things won't be quite that easy when Lex is involved. Jenn is one of this fandoms most outstanding authors, and this is one story of hers you shouldn't miss. 222K
Family, Friendship, and Love
by Henry Jones, Jr Slash. In all the recs on these pages, you'll only find two M-Preg stories. Normally, I can't stand 'em, but this is the second rare exception to the rule. Perhaps it's the whole 'Clark is an alien' thing that makes the M-Preg tolerable, but Henry Jones' writing and plot that sucked me in to the story. Clark finds himself in 'delicate condition' after Lex has moved back to the big city. I like the tension that Henry creates in this story -- the Kents' disappointment, Clark's struggle to conceal and cope with his condition, the disapproval of Clark's friends and neighbours as he drops out of school to be a teen father, as well as the fear and pride that keep him from contacting Lex. Give this one a try, even if you're not fond of M-Pregs. 200K
Moon Dance by Aklani Slash. It's Halloween in Smallville. While attending a party hosted by Lex, Clark meets someone who helps him come to some serious realizations about his feelings for his best friend. Aklini's writing ability transcends what is becoming a way too familiar plot device in this fandom. 60K
Incarnadine by RivkaT Slash. Ah, red Kryptonite. Much thanks to the producers of Smallville for handing out 'get your slash opportunities free' cards to the fanfic writers. RivkaT has done an admirable job stepping up to the plate with this episode-tie in story. Under the influence of the red meteorite, Clark takes Lex in a way that is just shy of rape. How will they both deal with the consequences of Clark's actions. Bonus points for some nice Martha-mothering-Lex moments. 50K
What I Do Is Me-For That I Came by Te and Jenn Slash. Sigh. You know what this page needs? Another rec for a Te and/or Jenn story . A surprising (and leathery) discovery in Lex's closet makes for an interesting afternoon between the boys. The sex is nothing short of nuclear. 52K
Photographic Evidence by Soraya Slash. Ah, futurefic. A photojournalist uncovers the supposed story of a lifetime when he captures pictures of President Luthor in a sexual tryst with the Man of Steel. Things aren't always what they seem, now are they? 36K
Sparks by Jenn and prufrock Slash. Ah, the road to hell. And along the way is Lex, handing out roadmaps. Set during Clark's college years, Lex takes his best friend out for a night on the town at a 'Gentlemen's Club' (not a strip joint, as Clark so carelessly refers to it). Things may not turn out as Lex was expecting, though. Steamy, sweet, and filled with that 'in character' touch at which both Jenn and prufrock excel. 46K

Friends by Teri Leigh
Adult (1st two parts)/Mild-Slash (part 3).
Nobody, Nobody does deflowering stories like Teri Leigh. (Just check out her
Willow/Angel Salvation if you need
more proof). As the title implies, Chloe and Clark decide to brush up on their sexual
skills with each other. In the third chapter, a suspicious Lex plots to find out what
exactly is going on between the teenagers, and gets just a tad bit more than what he
bargined.
Broken Link! Taking
Chances by Jade Slash/Het. Future fic. Set during the 'college
years', Clark and Lex are still a couple, but what happens when Chloe comes back into
the picture? 125K
Would You Like
Some Java With Your Snark? by kathe Gen. For the life of me, I
can't figure out why I like the Chloe/Lex pairing so much. Except, of course, for the
fact that I am a sarcastic bitch in RL, and I love the snark factor the characters share.
And speaking of snark, you'll find plenty of that in this little gem of a series.
Unfinished at the moment, but far enough along to be more than worth the read.

Vast by Miss Windy
Adult. While the writing on this one may need a tad of refining, the story and
pairing are interesting enough to make it worthwhile. Tired of living in the shadows
of the perfect ones (ie - Clark and Lana), Whitney and Chloe find out that there may be
more to each other than meets the eye.
Broken Link! Fun With Telescopes
by Maveness Adult. A cute look into Chloe's personal journal - with a
nice twink at the end concerning the main object of her affection - Clark.
Jilling and Inhale by Te
Adult. Jesus, did it just get hot in here, or what? 'Jilling' is set around a little
personal time for Chloe, if you catch my drift. 'Inhale' on the other hand (pun *so*
intended) has Clark dealing with a new power, one that leads to a hell of a powerful
incident with his aforementioned best friend. 16K, 32K
