Driven by his need to redeem the name of the Kuu, Saicho uses the 1,000 cranes given to him by Kuukai's daughter Misora in order to defeat Recca. Of course, since Recca's our protagonist, it doesn't work, but it makes for some nice images.
Okay, so this is one of the funky animators. But it's Saicho and Koganei confronting Magensha, who's trying to kidnap Yanagi. If you ask me, he's welcome to her.
