Chapter 5
Turles?
Goten glared at the man as he used the name of his race as an insult. The man looked human, with blue hair and purple eyes, but Goten noticed that his fighting power even when lowered was 500,000. The man faced Goten and got in fighting stance, "Well boy, try to show me a good fight. If it is possible for a Saiyian like you."
Goten was tired of the insults, "Bring it on Charnos!"
Charnos jumped into the air and a split second later Goten joined him. Their punches were fast and furious with Goten giving more damage than he was receiving. Goten landed a devastating uppercut and did a spin kick to Charnos's body. As Goten was fighting he started to smile. All of the recent fighting Goten had been doing had risen some buried feelings about how much he loved to fight. It was the excitement, the rush, the pushing yourself to get stronger and better, and most of all the feeling of power between two strong opponents. Goten noticed he had lost a lot of that as he became older.
Goten saw that he also lost the love for fighting when peace broke out on Earth after Buu. He now remembered why exactly his father loved to teach, and train himself to become better, stronger. In less than two days after abduction, Goten was reborn. It made him sick to remember himself as a girl chasing, unmotivated dork. Of course, there was no way he would ever give up dating, but he would cut it down when he got back.
Goten was knocked out of his deep thinking by punch to his abdomen which took the air out of him. Charnos then shot Goten to the ground with a large fireball and started concentrating. Charnos put his hands together and pointed them straight out at the crater that Goten had made, "TOTAL RECON CRUSH!"
A large purple, blue and green energy attack left his hands and headed for Goten. Goten got up and faced the attack. His eyes rose as he saw how close the attack was. He quickly placed his hands in the right positions and yelled out, "Kamehama!"
The recon crush was inches away from Goten's face as the beams collided. Goten was pushed back 60 feet from the force. Goten pushed his beam out with all of his physical strength. The beams fought each other with fierce determination. Goten's beam was slowly pushing Charnos's back inch by inch. As Charnos saw the beam's equal distance between him and Goten he growled and yelled, "Full Power!"
The total recon crush doubled in size and quickly abosorbed Goten's kamehama. Just as the beam was about to hit Goten, Goten yelled out , "Full Power," to his attack.
The recon crush again stopped inches away from Goten face causing Goten to slide back and get even more weak from it's heat. Goten's kamehama grew the same size as Charnos's but easily overwhelmed the beam. Charnos screamed as Goten's kamehama slammed into him and knocked him to the ground bloody, smoking and hurt.
Goten joined Charnos on the ground and holding his injured arm, started getting information from him, "Now, where is Toruku, and who is this Turles?"
Charnos slowly got to his feet, "It's not over yet, Saiyian!"
Charnos did a back flip and landed 200 feet away. "I will kill you now!"
Goten watched as Charnos started screaming and his skin started to fall off. Charnos had a light green skin underneath and was much larger. Before he was about Goten's height at about 5' 11", now he towered over 9 feet tall. His bulk changed too, he had to have muscle on top of muscle. He looked strong enough to bench-press a mountain.
Charnos talked in a deeper more evil tone, "Now that I have changed, there is no way you can beat me now!"
Goten felt weak, low on power and tired. His whole body hurt and he couldn't remember the last time he ever fought so hard. He could barely stand and it looked like the injury on his arm was now infected. He smiled. "Charnos, you ain't seen nothing yet!"
Goten flipped into Charnos's face and smirked at him. Charnos with new confidence, smiled thinking the weak and hurt Goten as no threat, "And what are you going to do little boy?"
Goten looked into his eyes, "This!" Charnos was blown away by pure energy as Goten went super Saiyian. He quickly got to his feet and faced him. Goten stood confident as the wind blew his golden hair and had a new menacing look in his green eyes. "Well, are you just going to stand there and look ugly or are you going to show me just how you are going to beat me?"
Charnos growled in anger and charged at Goten with all he had. Goten was still weak from all of he previous fights and took the charge to his stomach. Blood splattered from his mouth as Goten flew back in pain. Charnos sped face to face with Goten right before Goten kneed him in the face. Charnos was stunned by the hit and put down his defenses. Goten threw a devastating right hook punch knocking Charnos through the air. Goten knew he had to end the fight quickly because every moment the fight went on he felt himself become weaker and weaker. Goten, still flipping in the air, faced him and fired with all the remaining energy he had left in super Saiyian form. "Kame--"
His hands quickly went to his sides to focus the power, "hame--"
He focused the energy into a ball and turned to his opponent, "Haaaaaaa!"
Charnos screamed a deep evil roar as he again landed on the ground a bloody pulp. Goten having no energy left was taken out of super Saiyian and fell to the ground in exhaustion.
Goten woke up five minutes later disoriented and in pain. It took everything he had in him just to get to his feet. He turned and saw a beaten Charnos on the ground and started staggering toward the limp form. The pain shot through his arms and legs but Goten continued to move towards his opponent. It seemed like the whole journey took hours, but Goten finally reached Charnos's body.
Goten fell to his knees, turned Charnos's body over, and started shaking him awake. "Charnos! Wake up!"
The green man slowly opened his eyes, "Turles? Have you come to save me?"
Goten slapped the man and shook him some more, "Charnos! Tell me what I need to know and then I'll let you die. Now, where is Toruku? And who is Turles?"
Charnos shook his head and stared at Goten before answering, "Ok, I'll tell you everything. Toruku is in the gigantic castle straight to the west. He lives there and never leaves."
Goten noticed Charnos's ki and his heartbeat was steadily going down. He knew that Charnos didn't have a lot of time left.
"Ok Charnos, now who is Turles?"
"Turles is from another galaxy. He came with the only purpose in life to kill all living things. He came about a year after Toruku's slave Gokou died."
Goten flinched at the information. He had hoped his dad had survived and changed his name to Turles, but it was not so. His father had really died. As Goten again faced the general, he saw that the alien had already died.
Goten again rose to his feet. He was still bleeding. He noticed he had lost much too much blood. He collapsed to the ground and began to prepare to die. Out of nowhere hundreds of reinforcement warriors surrounded him and went in for the kill. Goten clinched his fists in anger as he now saw that Toruku had won, and at the fact that he would never get his revenge.
As the front row of warriors drew closer for the kill, Goten was surprised to hear fireballs crashing around him. He lifted his head and saw that Bra and Uubuu had come to save him! He watched as Uubuu took care of all of the forces like they were weeds, just blasting through them all with ease. Bra went straight after him as Uubuu took on everyone else. Bra picked Goten up off the ground, "Goten you are lucky you are not dead right now!"
As she flew her and Goten away from the city of soldiers, Goten couldn't even talk. Bra looked at the teenager with love and a mother like anger in her eyes. Goten tried his best to smile right before he fainted from blood loss.
Goten woke up inside the rejuvenation tank once again. He flexed his muscles and looked at his injured arm. The hole was gone, but the arm looked shriveled and worn. Goten closed his eyes thankful for some quiet time to think to himself.
"Goten!!"
Goten's eyes shot open as the surprise of the voice frightened him. He looked straight through the glass at Bra screaming at him at the top of her lungs. Well, so much for the quiet time, thought Goten as he went through what seemed to be hours and hours of scolding and yelling by Bra.
"Goten I can't believe you did that! I know that watching the tape was hurtful to you but that doesn't mean you get to act like a moron! You know it is just us three against the world, and you also know you aren't even close to strong enough to take on Toruku or even Turles, for that matter."
Goten had been drifting off back to sleep before his head shot up at the name of Turles. Talking through the microphone in the breathing mask he swiftly interrupted Bra, "Bra, who is Turles?"
Bra was still yelling at him and didn't hear the question.
Goten still felt that there was some chance his father was still alive. If he was, then he would have to see him. Goten yelled, "Who is Turles?"
Bra stopped and looked in Goten's eyes. "Goten your dad is gone. He died a long time ago. Turles is just another evil savage that is commanded by Toruku."
Goten put down his head in sadness, "That's all I needed to hear. Thank you Bra. Now can you bring me Uubuu, please?'
Bra nodded and went to get Uubuu. As soon as she left Goten shook his head and thought to himself, my father may not be Turles but I believe he is still alive. My dad is Gokou, he never stays dead.
Uubuu opened the door and walked in. Goten looked at him. He was large, cold, and unmerciful. Goten knew he didn't want to turn out like him, but on the other hand he knew he was too soft to kill directly. Even when he fought Charnos he couldn't bring himself to hurt him past disabling him from fighting and killing himself. Goten knew he needed to get stronger, colder, and unforgiving to kill Toruku for all he had done to his family and friends. Goten felt tears go to his eyes as he thought about Toruku killing his mom, dad, brother, and best friend.
"I want you to train me."
Uubuu smirked, "It will be tough, on you and your body. You might die from the strain of my personal training. I won't go easy on you and you will most likely end up in this tank after every fight."
Goten smiled, "As long as it makes me stronger I'll do anything. Besides, don't count me out yet, I still have a couple tricks I learned from yesterday."
Uubuu broke open the tank with his ki, knocking Goten out of it. Goten fell in pain to the floor. His body wasn't done repairing itself, and the strain was making the pain almost unbearable. Uubuu looked at Goten on the ground in pain, "Training starts now, get up and get ready."
Goten could barely move off the ground. This was the worst pain he had ever felt in his life. At least in his fight with Charnos and Uubuu he had had adrenaline to quiet the pain of his battles. Goten knew that he should be dead from all the injuries he had taken from leaving the hideout, and his body wasn't close to finishing its repair. Suddenly, Uubuu kicked him into the opposite wall, "When I say something you do it, do you hear me?"
Goten shook his head, "This is going to be tough."
Bra's journal 6\20\32
It has been 8 months since we brought Goten over from the past, and he has come along nicely. Uubuu and him have been training in the special gravity room I built. I'm really proud of It, I got it to go up to 2500 times Earth gravity. I guess I've always had a little more of Mom than Dad in me. Well, Uubuu can only take 2000 times Earth gravity but I think one day Goten will be able to train in the maximum setting. They work out in the room everyday at 1700 times Earth gravity.
Goten's power has increased by over 700% and he is becoming powerful enough to spar one on one with Uubuu at full power for about 10 minutes! He's overcome super Saiyian 2 but is struggling with the power of level 3.
Uubuu has almost killed him about 9 times and each time Goten has come back stronger, ready to fight and to learn. Goten really surprised me. I thought this would be tough, but he is willing to listen and learn. You would think that Goten would become a grump like Uubuu, but he seems to have kept his jokes and smile during fights.
We also showed Goten our other secret hideout. Our backup just in case the armies of Toruku find this one. Uubuu built it with his own two hands before Goten arrived. He always believed in a back up plan but I still think it will be useless.
Dende, I feel the life in Uubuu and me slowly getting sucked out. Toruku's evil world has made us weak, but Goten seems unaffected and confident. I hope when Uubuu sends Goten back to his time he is ready to beat Toruku.
