The second basic move is the shadow. This move is all about pressing space two times in a row. Fasten your rope about an inch from the point you wont to end your shadow on. Try to lose speed, you gotta have lost all speed right above the point you wanna grab onto. Make sure you are not too close to the ceiling. If you are not right above the point, you can correct a little, like i did in the image below. Try to master this move and spike, cause they are the basic moves of roping and will make you a lot faster. Good luck...
