T   Triple, Amount of time to play game

TA   Total Average

Tag   There are two types of tags in baseball:

1) When a runner must touch the base they are at before they can advance after a fly ball is caught

2) When a fielder with the ball, or glove with the ball in it, touches a runner in order to put them out

Tag-out  When a fielder holding the ball touches a runner while he is off base or the actual base while ball is 'live'.

Tag-Up   Baserunner must return and touch the base he occupied when a hit was made if it was illegal or if a pop fly is caught by the offense

When a runner attempts to advance to the next base on a fly ball or pop-up that is caught by a fielder. In order to tag up, a runner must have at least one foot on the base he or she is occupying when the ball is caught. Once the ball is caught, the runner can attempt to advance to the next base, and must be tagged before reaching the base in order to be called out. If the defensive team feels the runner left the previous base before the ball was caught, the defense may appeal the play to the umpire by calling "time" and tagging the previously occupied base. If the umpire determines that the runner did leave the base before the ball was caught, the runner is called out
