A Dish

lady fair
if only the words were mine to say
wispering subtly your fears away
soaring high
seeking your wingmate
gliding toward you
an awesome sight might this be
her knight
still not clear
inside she searchs
questions of time perhaps
he calls
a nursery rhyme
fairy tales she replies
who can believe them
he flies closer
a crown and gold at his hem
a prince
is this what i see
O'lord is this one for me
angels reply only time will tell
you have to keep him under your spell
kind gestures he will admire
only to fill your every desire
princes are gentle and kind if wisdom dwells in his soul
It shines so bright like wintry coal
she watches
wary
catching his every move
gently he bows showing his groove
she laughs with the sound of chimes on the winds of night
slowly
with care he quells her timid fright
a gentle request he makes in his stead
my new found friend don't forget what i've said
there is love waiting for me and you
the joy therof must be built by two
i seek that princess who's mine to be
is it you my dear
well shall we see
this dish is served with cherry stuffed crepes
topped with a chilled brandy creme mousse ala cashew
flavored imported coffee and appropiate dessert wine

Yeshua

a new dish you say
tasting sampling
life's flavors always enjoyed
dear knight
don't you yet know
words belong to the world
we only need to take them for our own
i hear your whispers and wish not to fear
soaring high
are you my wingmate
shall we dance in the clouds
picked up by the winds of love
suspended in time
my heart yearns for more than nursery rhymes
a solid touch
a hand thats kind
a spirit beautiful
a heart thats true
could it be my Knight is real
riches unheeded
only the strength of true love is needed
eyes catching yours as you sail past
care to stop awhile
shall i be sleeping beauty
and you whom i once knew in a dream
i listen for the voice of guidance
O'Lord is this the one for me
i hear the reply
sail the wings of time
for in time all things are made known
my soul searching
my spirit seeking
under my spell he says
i know no spell
if only it were that easy
i would have found my soulmate long ago
my fingers gentle as the breeze
my lips soft as the rose petal
my words meant for the shade of my heart
the caress of my soul always ever tender
i am afraid to desire too much
the words i live by
"Do not block the blessings with expectations"
walls are built
limitations placed with expectations
NO i scream
please no walls
if he is gentle as his golden tongue
than i shall be blessed to nestle in his feathered wings
nurtured by his kindness
taught from his wisdome
teach me
hold me
love me
i will teach you
hold you
love you
shall we walk this path together
holding hands you and i
helping supporting
giving strength when courage is trampled
the fire of your soul
it draws me like a beacon
a cup of cocoa
a good book enjoyed within its warmth
watching you
a soft smile on my lips
greeting your bow with a soft kiss to your cheek
closing my eyes
hearing your voice
relaxing my guard
they say that words are a relection of our inner selves
if your spirit is as beautiful as your words
i am honored to know you
you will be held as a treasure
a rainbow in a stormy sky
i am listening to what you have said
i am willing to love
to risk
to build a solid stone must first be found
shall we search the mountain tops together
you and i
i do not know my knight
am i that princess you have seen only in your dreams
only you can answer that
this dish you've served
i found it satisfying
my taste buds enjoyed its flavor
shall we take whats left of the wine to the garden
walk with me a while
tell me of yourself
and maybe
when we've walked and talked and touched
we can plant that seed of true love together
water it
nurture it
watch it grow
please O'lord
let it be so
