Memory NotesAn elderly man and woman were having memory problems so they went to the doctor. The doctor checked them out and said that physically they were fine. He suggested that they write notes to help with their memory. That night when they got home they sat down to watch TV. The man got up to get a drink.His wife asked, "could you get me some ice cream?" He said ok. She asked, "do you think you should write a note to help you remember?" 
He said, "I don't need a note you want ice cream." She said, "um, I want strawberries and whipped cream on it." He said ok. She said, "don't you think you should write a note to help remember?" He said "no, no, no you want ice cream and strawberries and whipped cream, I don't need a damn note." She said, "but honey, the doctor..." He interrupted, "I don't need a damn note. I know what you asked for." After an hour or so he came back and handed her a plate with bacon and eggs. She looked at it and said, "you forgot the damn toast, I told you to write a note." MemoryWhen I went to lunch today, I noticed an old lady sitting on a park bench sobbing her eyes out. I stopped and asked her what was wrong.She said, "I have a 22 year old husband at home. He makes love to me every morning and then gets up and  makes me pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit
and freshly ground coffee."I said, "Well, then why are you crying?" She said, "He makes me homemade soup for lunch and my favorite brownies and then makes love to me for half the afternoon." I said, "Well, why are you crying?" She said, "For dinner he makes me a gourmet meal with wine and my favorite dessert and then makes love to me until 2:00 a.m. I said, "Well, why in the world would you be crying?" She said, "I can't remember where I live!" |
