The village of Nea Roumata on Crete
The village of Nea Roumata is situated in the mounains of west Crete on the Chania - Nea Roumata - Prases - Sougia route. It is a small and quiet village with two small churches, some sheep and quite a lot of fruit trees (mainly apples in all sorts of colors). Just outside the village is an old olive tree with a hole in it, where you can look right through. In the area is a windmill park meant to collect energy.
